The raining stopped, people start to close their umbrellas. The scent of fresh rain can be smelled in the air. The pavements are wet, the raindrops fall from leaves. The sun begins to set, the beautiful sky blue that once presented itself in such a divine way started to disintegrate. It started at noon when it turned into a darker shade as it was about to rain. Now it changed again, as the sunset begins the soft pastel pink mixes with the softer blue...but it changed again! It became a serene, calming orange...
The lamplights are on, everything is so still you'd hear a penny drop from a kilometer away. The once peaceful color starts to get more intense. You suddenly hear vehicles passing by, and children waving their friends goodbye. And all of that happens as the orange sky intensifies. The far off buildings start turning into silhouettes of themselves, they're slowly being consumed by shadows. As you look up, you start to realize that the orange starts to be overpowered by a soft violet. And as everything remains still, much more still than it was before, you start to hear the ticking of the clock. The breeze of the sunset start to pass through your entire body, so warm yet so cold. Mimicking beautiful things found only in times of grief. The sky now almost fully consumed by the now stronger violet hue, softens its orange hue. Almost as if it's a final goodbye that was cut too short. You wanted it to last longer, but as we all know,we cannot swim against the tides of time. The sky gets darker, as the lamplights get brighter. Vehicles start to pass again after a long period of silence. As the sky stays the same, you decide to look around the living room. You were seated next to the window so you had to turn ur body all the way back just to see the back-most area of the room, which would have been your front if you weren't facing the window. You start to see your belongings so messily put onto that desk, yet so pleasing to look at. Looking back at the sky, the building lights start to turn on. The violet hue starts to win the fight against the orange hue. The latter slowly accepts its defeat by allowing itself to soften up and be consumed by the darker now stronger than ever before violet. The darker color, so majestic and so intriguing. It symbolizes that nightfall is about to come soon. And as the violet takes full control of the sky, it feels like the ending of a symphony, bittersweet, and as the black color of the night sinks in, the stars start to shine, almost like it represents the knowledge of the happiness that can only be obtained by reaching...
The end.
