The Boy With The Glasses

The Group Assigment.

You and Tsukkishima Kei have been living next door to each other for as long as you can remember. Y'all just have never gotten along. You have tried to become friends with him but he always was rude to you. You can't remember the last time you have had a conversation with him and it hasn't turned into an argument. You only have 2 classes with Tsukkishima (social studies and science) and you sit next to him in both classes. He doesn't really bother you (during class) and you don't bother him. Today, your almost late for school so your in a hurry. You bump into Tsukki in the hallway. "Excuse me" you say as you try to push past him to get to class. "Tsk, watch where your  going next time" he moves out of the way so you can get past, but as soon as you start walking again he tried tripped you. You catch yourself before you fall. *the bell rings* you glare at Tsukki but you can't do anything right now because you need to go but look you gave him says everything. "Oops" Tsukki says sarcastically. He smirks and walks toward his classroom.

*Later, after your home room class and first period*

Now it's time for you to go to science. You are still a little agitated because of the earlier events but decide to focus on just getting your work done and going home. When you walk into you class your eyes immediately shift to Tsukki, sitting in his usual seat right next to yours and the quiet kid. (The quiet kid sits on the left Tsukki in the middle, and you on the right) You've actually never had a real conversation with that quiet kid, but you think him and Tsukki are friends. You never would've thought that that man (tsukki) was able to make friends with that attitude of his. You start to walk to your seat and you see what's written on the board in the front of the class. "Group Assignment. Work with the people next to you." You start to panic a little. You don't really know the quiet kid on the left and you despise Tsukki. You walk towards your seat. You can see Tsukki has an attitude, but that's nothing out of the ordinary. "Guess we'll be working together" you say as you sit down. "Not that i really want to." You mumbled under your breath. Tsukki somehow heard you and replied "the feeling's mutual." You roll your eyes. Your teacher tells the class to settle down "today, as you can see, we are going to be doing some group work. You'll need to work with the 2 people next to you. I need you to to make a presentation about the topic we have been learning for 2 weeks." Your teacher explains. "Decide amongst yourself who's gonna do what. You may want to exchange phone numbers or emails so your group can work on it outside of class....." your teacher then goes on to explain the details of the assignment. The quiet kid reaches behind Tsukki and taps you on your shoulder. "Hey, I'm Yamaguchi Tadashi. I noticed we haven't formally met before so..." you replied, "Hi, I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you Yamaguchi." "I assume you already know Tsukkishima?" Says yamaguchi. "I mean not really. We're neighbors but that's about it." You don't know why but you feel as though you can trust Yamaguchi even though you're basically just meeting. You do know one thing for sure: Yamaguchi is WAY nicer then Tsukkishima.

"I'll do slide 1 and 2" You say. "Okay then I'll do slide 3 and 4." Yamaguchi says. "Guess that leaves me with 5 and 6" says Tsukki. "Email me your work when your done and I'll put everything together" Yamaguchi says. You and Tsukki nod. "Write down you number Y/N. I'll make a group chat with me, you, and Tsukki" Tsukki sighs and rolls his eyes. You ignore it and say "Okay" You write down your number on a piece of paper and slide it to Yamaguchi. He slips it into his pocket.

*Later, after school.*

You take the long way home because you don't really want to run into Tsukkishima. As your putting your key in the lock, you see someone waving to you from Tsukki's house. Upon closer inspection, you see Yamaguchi and Tsukki sitting on the steps with their notebooks and laptops. You wave back to Yamaguchi. Tsukki rolls his eyes. You watch as Yamaguchi whispers something Tsukki. Tsukki shakes his head no, but Yamaguchi keeps asking him. Tsukki shifts his gaze to you. You realize you've been staring, you finish unlocking your front door and enter your house. "Hey Y/N. How was school?" Your mom calls from the kitchen. "Great. Just great." You mumble as you walk up the steps to your room. You place you bag down and sit on your bed. You see you have 3 texts from an unknown number. "Hi Y/N. This is Yamaguchi" "Wanna come to Tsukki's house to to the group assignment?" "If not that's okay" You wonder how Yamaguchi knows your name. You've actually never told him it. Maybe when the teacher called on you during class he heard your name? You think about your response to Yamaguchi. "Should i go? I don't think Tsukkishima would be happy. Wait... that's perfect!" You say out loud. "Tsukkishima WOULDN'T be happy! Now i know how i can get back at him for earlier." You start to hatch a plan to make Tsukkishima even more upset. You text Yamaguchi "I'll be over there in 10." You change out of your uniform into some more comfortable clothes. "Okay :) see you soon" Yamaguchi replied. You put your laptop and your notebook into your bag and slung it over your shoulder. You walk down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Mom. Can I go to Tsukkishima's house to work on our science project?" "You? Go to Tsukkishima's house? Nice joke" your mom says as she washes the dishes. "No, I'm being serious. I have to go there, I don't want to but I don't want to fail the assignment either. Your mom is silent for a minute. She sighs and then says "okay then. Be back by the time the streets lights come on." "Thanks mom." You say as your walking towards the door. "See you later" you walk out the door. You look to your right, Tsukki and Yamaguchi are still sitting on the steps working. You take a deep breath then walk towards Tsukki's house.
