Hello there! This is going to be my second official book! I'm very excited to get this story going!
If you're here, I'm assuming you've read the description. I won't repeat what I've already said, but keep in mind that I mean every single word.
Brianna Garcia is a character that has gone through a lot and will always go through a lot. Trauma, from my understanding, is an unwarranted visitor and one can never make them leave.
As I was developing and creating this character, her backstory and everything it includes just sewed themselves in and weaved together. I still don't know why I created such a tragic and awful backstory for my OC, as well as for my others. It seems to be a running theme.
I promise to deal with the severity of these issues to the very best of my ability and with all of my respect. If I, by mistake, say something that is offensive or anything of the sort, feel free to tell me in the comments. I'd hate to say anything that is stigmatizing, naive or ignorant by accident.
Even with quite the heavy baggages, this story will still be fluffy, wholesome, and will have teenagers being dumbasses and simply having a good time. It will be a hopefully great balance of both.
On a lighter note, this fanfic will derive from the Haikyuu!! English Dub. Say what you will about dubs, but I won't stand for Haikyuu English Dub slander. The dub is literally one of the best things ever, guaranteed serotonin boost. I'm going to write the story the way the dub is written. Although I will derive heavily, if not completely, from the dub, I will do my best to seam in and incorporate real life elements of Japan and everything that it entails.
Seeing as how Brianna is a foreigner in Japan, her not knowing and learning new things and discovering stuff will be very advantageous to me and best believe I'm going to capitalize on it like the writer I am.
On another note, this book will not include any ships. All this book is going to be about is friendship,wholesome things, high school hijinks (and also everything related to my OC). Nothing is romantic until I state it is or completely confirm it. Now don't get me wrong, I love shipping just as much as every other person does, but there are times where we should just take off our shipping goggles and look at things the way they are. A show about groups of boys and volleyball. A show about a quirkless hero fanboy who is on his path to becoming the greatest hero. A show about a boy who wants to regain his sister's humanity and avenge his family.
Taking off those shipper goggles and seeing the friendship between the boys and their teamwork makes everything hit harder and it kinda makes me want to cry because of how beautiful it is :')
LAST NOTE I SWEAR LMAO. Brianna Garcia is actually an original character for the only original story I have in my works at the moment. As I haven't written the original story just yet, this will serve as a writing exercise for me and practice for writing out Brianna Garcia, which I'm immensely grateful for. Brianna is one of, if not the, most complex character I have created/developed. She's very intricate and packed to the brim with personality, so I'm going to need this practice A LOT.
Anyway, I'll try and upload my first chapter for this fic. I'm working on my 2nd chapter for my MHA fic, so be on the lookout for that soon. I've noticed that my Demon Slayer book has 400 reads and my MHA one only has 2😭. Whoever those 2 people are, bless you honestly. I'll treasure you two for a long time.
