The night was silent as you lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling. Your mind was crowded with thoughts of your mission and you found it difficult to sleep. What if you weren't ready for this? I mean, sure you had been training for it your whole life, but what if you screwed up? What if you were found out? You didn't even want to think of what would happen if that happened. A quiet sigh escaped your lips as you twisted and turned in your bed. You just couldn't seem to find a comfortable position.

Your father had brewed a red potion for Vaati and yourself to heal your injuries. Usually, he wouldn't allow such thing as supply's to make the sustenance were limited where you lived, but he wanted you all in tip-top condition for your mission.

Although you were worried, you had to admit you were rather excited. You'd only ever left the palace once in your whole life. That was when your father was being held dormant by Zelda and Vaati had announced his discovery of where the Mage's hat lay. The four of you had snuck out in the night to go and retrieve it, but you never had any time to actually look around. The only real glimpses you had of the outside world were through the magic mirror in your father's study. It allowed you to see particular areas of Hyrule and its inhabitants. Thats how you learnt so much about the champions and so forth. You had rather mixed emotions on the whole thing.

You closed your eyes in an attempt to convince sleep to take you, but to no avail. You just couldn't calm down. A frustrated groan escaped your body as you smacked your head into your pillow in annoyance. "Can't sleep either?"

You lifted your head to see Dark standing in the doorway to your room. He was wearing a baggy grey shirt and his hat had been removed, his typical sleepwear. "Nope," you grumbled before gesturing for him to join you. He smiled softly as he climbed into bed beside you, curling up against your large body. "So why can't you sleep?" you questioned.

"I don't know," he shrugged quietly, "Just scared I'm going to screw up. Father already looks down on me because of my resemblance to the hero. I just want to make him proud."

"He doesn't look down on you," you whispered gently, "And he's proud of all of us, even if he doesn't show it."

"Are you scared?" Dark queried, looking up at you with sad eyes.

"I feel like I'm going to throw up," you replied seriously before chuckling quietly, "I just don't know about this. It's such an important thing and he's leaving it to us. I mean, if just one of us slips up the whole plans going to be found out. I just don't want to ruin it. Fathers been waiting so long for his revenge, and I just want to make him proud."

"I feel exactly the same," Dark mumbled quietly.

"As do I."

You both looked over towards your door to see Ghirahim appear in a flurry of diamonds. His red cloak was wrapped tightly around him as he too hopped into bed. "Vaati," you called quietly, your eyes not leaving your door, "Come on." There was silence for a moment before your older brothers head sheepishly peeked around the wooden frame. You opened your arm, welcoming him in as all three of your brothers joined you in bed. Finding comfort and warmth against your large body.

Ever since you were young the four of you had done this. Whether you were scared, stressed, worried or upset, you'd all curl up in your bed and talk until you fell asleep. Even as adults you still did it. It was comforting and was a way to help ease your troubles. Sure you were all as different as could be, but you loved each other to pieces. "How long do you think this shall take?" Ghirahim mumbled as you wrapped your arms around your brothers.

"I don't know," you replied sadly, "However I doubt it will be quick."

"I can't imagine being away from all of you," Vaati sighed. Dark hummed in agreement and sorrow filled your faces. All your life you'd been with your brothers. You were practically inseparable, and now you all had to go on a mission to completely different parts of Hyrule. Not to mention, if you were found out you'd be killed for sure.
