third pov ~
As the class discussed who they believed would win, Y/N and the others prepared for the race to begin.
a/n (idk if you remember who's up but: Y/N, Koda, Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Jirou, Aoyama)
"Alright class... Begin!" All Might yelled out. The competitors immediately getting to it.
Y/N and Todoroki quickly compete for the lead while Yaoyorozu makes some high-powered roller skates, as soon as she places them on she trails behind the two. Jirou uses her earphone jacks to grab onto the pipes and swing throughout the maze. Uraraka floats to the top to get a better view of the maze. Koda and Aoyama just run.
Todoroki uses his ice to glide through but since he is side-by-side with Y/N she has trouble getting ahead.
"Is what you and Tsu said, the reason why Y/N won't take the lead?" Ojiro asks. The class watching the race intently.
"Yes, the cold is getting in her way, especially with them being side-by-side, and the only way to win this if she were to get away from him which is difficult if she can't get ahead." Tokoyami explains not taking his eyes off the two screen.
Damn it. What the hell do I do?! Y/N thought as she looks around her to find a way out. A light bulb appears in her mind and she slows down leaving Todoroki confused but he continues on his way.
"What?! What is she doing?" Mina jumps up.
Y/N runs in a different direction full speed then makes a U turn back towards Todoroki, headed straight for a wall but shows no sign of slowing down.
Kaminari forms a big smile and his eyes sparkling. Kirishima sees his smile and furrows his eyebrows.
"What are you smiling about? She's about to run into a wall!" Kirishima shakes Kaminari.
"Shh, just wait a minute, watch." Kaminari shakes off Kirishima's hands off his shoulders.
Right when Y/N is about to reach the wall she starts shaking making her even more blurry to the public's eye and phases right through the wall entering a room. She runs through the room towards another wall that led to the outside and phases through that one making her take the lead in front of Todoroki. He loses his footing a little, startled at her sudden appearance but quickly recovers and tries to catch up.
"Did she just--" Someone starts before Kaminari cuts them off with a simple, "Yup."
Y/N runs up the building All Might stood on and reach the top. She stops and smiles widely.
"How're you doing All Might?" she leans on the railing waiting for everyone else to reach.
Todoroki not far behind makes it up, then Yaoyorozu, Jirou, Uraraka, Koda, and lastly Aoyama.
