He continued to pull my legs until I was completely out of under the bed.
Just stay calm, Melody. Jimmy has it under control.
He yanked me up to me feet, and pinned me full-force into the wall, with banged up my head really badly.
I wailed in agony.
My face morphed from agony to anger. "What to you want?" I said, my fists trembling with rage.
He was wearing a mask, so I couldn't identify who it was.
He grabbed my hand, and raised my arm to the air, and twisted it.
"What the hell?!" I screamed, pushing him off of me, using all my strength. I winced at the pain in my arm, and slapped the guy.
I pushed him away, and he tumbled to the wall. I punched him several times.
He rushed toward me, and picked me up over his shoulder. I screamed and kicked, but he wouldn't budge.
He carried me outside, and to the car.
As if on cue, a car pulled up. They stopped abruptly, and raced out to the car.
My heart thundered. It was Jimmy.
He stopped, and looked over at Jimmy. Jimmy's face was red from rage.
his mouth twitched. Jimmy gestured to me. "Let her go," Jimmy said calmly, evidently hiding a total breakout. But, he didn't move.
He didn't say anything. "Alright, you chose the hard way." Jimmy turned to the car, and gave it a thumbs up. Two police officers came rushing out with guns up. Then, I realized, Jimmy came here in a police car. I couldn't tell because it was so dark outside.
"Put her down! Get down on your knees!" An officer yelled. He slowly put me down, and kneeled down. He held up his hands in surrender.
I ran to Jimmy, and into his arms. Jimmy wrapped his arms around me. I immediately relaxed my muscles. He knew how to comfort someone.
I shivered. That was traumatizing.
"Are you okay?" Jimmy said, letting me go and examining me.
"I'm okay. Whoever that was twisted my arm really hard, so that hurts. Other than that, I'm fine."
Jimmy's expression looked like a combination of fear and relief. "God, Melody. I thought I lost you. I don't even know what I would do." Jimmy pulled me into another hug again. I felt his heart beating through his chest.
I didn't want to let go.
"Miss, do you feel safe enough to stay home by yourself?" An officer asked, waving his flashlight around.
"Im okay, thanks." I croaked.
I thanked he police officers. Jimmy and I walked up the doorsteps, , and stood on the patio,
"Jimmy..." I muttered, fidgeting with my fingers. "I can't thank you enough for what you've done, especially since after I acted like a total asshole earlier."
"You didn't act like an asshole," Jimmy said. "I know how you feel."
I hugged him again. I couldn't resist his sincere feelings for me. And maybe, just maybe, I feel the same way.
"I should get going. Talk to you soon?" Jimmy said as he walked toward the doorstep.
I grabbed his arm. "Wait!"
Don't do this, Melody. Don't get him sucked in.
I have to. I can't resist it anymore.
Don't do it.
I have to.
I spun him around, and kissed him passionately. It took Jimmy a few seconds to kiss me back.
Jimmy hands moved from my back to my hips. Tingles rushed up my spine from the sensation of his touch. I ran my fingers through his mussed hair, and felt the pounding of his heartbeat as our bodies move closer.
I knew I couldn't get him involved, but I can't resist the urge anymore. I was attracted to him in a mysterious way.
