The Hogwarts Express

Y/N POV

As you gall got onto the train, you went to look for Lee in one of the compartments. While you were looking for Lee, you saw a man sleeping in one. It was your dad, the twins didn't know he was going to be the new DADA teacher, so you quietly left the compartement and let him sleep.

You finally found Lee, sitting in the compartement next to the one your dad was in. Fred went to sit next to Lee and you sat next to George.

You were all talking about your vacations. The twins told Lee all about Egypt and the cool stuff they saw there.

After a while your mind started wandering off. You rested your head on Georges shoulder and slowly drifted off to sleep.

GEORGE POV

After a while Y/N fell asleep on my shoulder. He couldn't help but smile at her actions. 'God she's beautiful.' He thought to himself. Fred and Lee quickly caught up on this. "You know it's rude to stare brother." "Sodd off, I'm not staring."

"So when are you gonna tell her?" "Tell her what?" "Erm i don't know, maybe that you've fancied her, since our second year?"

"I don't fancy her." "Excuse me, let me rephrase that. That you have loved her, since our second year." Fred said with a smirk.

"Okay maybe I fancy her, but honestly, it doesn't matter. What would she see in me? I'm literally just her best friend and that all I'll ever be."

"George, don't you see the way she looks at you? Her eyes almost literally light up when she talks to you." George just shrugged at his brother's words, when suddenly the train stopped.

Y/N POV

You felt the train stop and woke up. "Morning sunshine." George said with a smirk and you couldn't help but blush a little. 

"Why did we stop? We can't be there yet?" You walked out of the compartement, to be met with Harry opening the door of his own compartement and many other students checking what was happening. "Do you know what's going on?" He asked. "No idea." You said with a shrug and the both of you went back in your compartements.

A little later, the lights started to flicker and went out. You felt everything around you getting cold. Something dark appeared in front of your compartement door. You grabbed George's hand, he got a little startled by the sudden contact, but he immediately squeezed it back for reassurance.

The door opened and suddenly you felt rather sad, like you would never be able feel happy again. Not a second later you started to feel light headed and you heard someone scream.

"DON'T FORGET ME Y/N/N! YOU SHOULD KNOW I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! I'M INNOCENT! BELIEVE ME! I LOVE YOU WE'LL SEE EACH OTHER SOON. I PROMISE!" 

Those were the last words you heard before you fainted.

"Y/N!! Y/N!!" "Love, wake up!" Slowly you opened your eyes and saw your dad and George towering  over you. "Dad what are you doing here? What happened? Was that a-" your father cut you off.

"Pumpkin calm down, it's okay I'm here. Have some chocolat, it'll help." He handed over the chocolat and you started eating it, you already felt a little better. "You fainted, I think those nasty dementors had a big effect on you."

"Were they looking for Sirius?" You whispered quietly, so that only he could hear you. "Yes, I think so." He said with a sad expression. "Now if you'll excuse me I'll have a word with the driver." He said to the four of you and left your compartement.

"Dad, wait up!" You yelled as you ran up to him. "What is it pumpkin?" "Well, right before I fainted, I heard someone scream. It was Sirius. It were the screams from the night they took him away. Why did I hear those screams?"

"I think it's because the dementors make you relive your worst memories. But don't you worry too much about it, you should get back to your friends."

"I think that Weasley boy, George I think, is pretty worried about you." He said while throwing you a wink. " Dad please." You said as you rolled your eyes and playfully elbowed him while you both let out a laugh. "See you later pumpkin." "Bye dad."

"Y/N are you okay?" Lee asked. "Of course she's not, she just literally fainted." George said in a worried tone. You returned to your seat and sat down. The boys were all staring at you. "Guys I'm okay, honestly. The dementor just had a bigger impact on me. Don't worry about it." You said while giving them a small smile.

Lee and Fred returned to their conversation. You were now just staring out of the window, admiring the view. Than you felt George lean in. "Are you sure you're okay love?" "Yes George, I'm fine, you really shouldn't worry about me." You said as you shot him a small smile, while you softly squeezed his hand.

"You do know I always worry about you right?" He said with a shy smile. "George like I said, I'm fine. Now if you don't mind I'm gonna change into my robes. I'll be right back." You told him while you got up and threw him another smile.

As you were making your way over to the toilets, you bumped into someone and fell. They could catch you just in time. "And to think that my best chaser would have the biggest reflexes." They said with a big smirk.

"Ollie! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." "That I'd figuered out already." He said with as he chuckled a little. The both of you realised that he was still holding you, which cause you both to blush and he quickly let go of you.

GEORGE POV

"What is taking her so long? . What if something happened? I knew she wasn't okay." He said to Lee and Fred.

"George, if you're so worried, why don't  you go check on her?" Fred said in a slightly annoyed tone. "Yeah, good idea. I'll go check on her, be right back."

He walked out of the compartement and after a while he noticed Y/N, she was talking to Wood. The sight of Y/N and some other guy together, made him nausous. They were laughing and he could hear Wood letting out some flirtatious comments, to which she blushed a little.

'Of course she doesn't like me. What am I, compared to Oliver Wood?' He thought to himself.

"Where's Y/N? I thought you went looking for her?" "She's perfectly fine." He snapped at his brother. "Woah George, what's gotten into you?" Fred asked. "She was talking to Wood. They were laughing and flirting and-. She probably likes him."

"George, why would she be wanting Wood, when she could have you?" Lee said,and not a second later, Y/N made her way back into the compartement.

"Hey what took you so long? I was worried about you." "Oh, well I bumped into Wood and we were just talking about our summers. He just kept going on and on about quidditch. Thats why it took so long." She said as she let out a chuckle.

"But like I said already, you don't have to worry about me Georgie." She said as she placed her hand on his and softly squeezed it, which made him blush.
