"Was that about Aurora?"
"Yes, Loki said shes awake"
"Can i go and see her?"
"I can't see why not, we don't know how she will react to anything just yet, so we have to be vigilant, this could take a long time, shes been with them a lot longer than you were"
"Don't remind me, plus i don't care how long it takes, i have her back and thats all that matters"
You both head down to the basement. You're greeted by Loki, you walk over to him and hug him tightly
"I owe you!"
"So I've heard, i will get thinking of what you can do for me, maybe a massage..." he looks over at Tony
"Ok, maybe not a massage, i will get back to you on that..." you glance at Tony who doesn't look impressed.
You lightly hit Loki and roll your eyes
"Honestly, thank you for what you did Loki, it was extremely selfless, and for being there for me the past couple of weeks, i will forever be grateful"
He smiles at you.
You turn to look through the glass. You see her sitting crouched over with her head in her arms.
"Has she said anything? Done anything?"
"She goes from angry to crying, I've managed to project a few images of you into her mind, shes still weak as far as i can tell because she hasn't tried to stop me"
You walk up to the glass, putting one hand against it, you push the intercom with the other.
"Aurora, i know this is scary, i know this doesn't make sense to you, but you're safe now, whats happened to you was wrong, and we will help fix it"
"Aurora, you're not alone anymore, you have me, your sister"
She looks up at you, her eyes filled with tears and pain.
"Someone will always be here for you" you look to Tony he nods
"I will come and see you every chance i get, and if you need me i will be here, we will get you through this, I've felt the anger and pain you're feeling Aurora, but no one can hurt you anymore, we've made sure of that. You will face things that won't be easy, but I'm here, we will never be apart again, i promise"
She puts her head back down. You close your eyes for a second, wishing the anguish of the next few weeks away.
"I will stay with her for a while if you don't mind"
Tony hesitates
"I wont do anything, i promise"
"Ok, i will send someone else down in an hour or so, call if you need anything"
They both leave.
You sit next to the glass, resting your head against the wall, You turn the intercom on and talk to her, telling her about your family, the house you lived in, how beautiful your mother was, telling her about the team, especially Tony, you tell her about how you can't quite believe what it feels like, but as he told you when you first met him, "even if you feel love for just a second, its worth it"
"I think i love him Aurora, it can't be anything else"
"I can't wait to share memories with you Aurora, we will create our own ones as well as figuring out old ones, together"
You look at her again, shes curled up in a ball and fallen asleep.
You start getting up when you see Cap standing by the door.
"I didn't want to barge in, sorry if it seems like I'm intruding"
"Of course not i was just talking rubbish to her, in fact it was that bad, shes fallen asleep, so your shift should be pretty easy"
"Before you go, i want to apologise for not telling you" he says looking guilty
"Its forgotten, like it didn't even happen" you smile at him, he smiles back.
"So you worked things out with Tony then? Sorry, I heard you, talking to her about him.
I'm happy for you both, he wasn't himself when you were gone, he was a mess, i see what you do to him, what you bring to his life, he's a very lucky man Arielle"
You look down
"I haven't spoken to him yet, i don't know how to, so I'm not sure what happened from here"
"It will only go one way, talk to him, he's probably trying to give you some space, but dying to talk to you, to apologise no doubt"
He give him a hug "thanks Steve"

You head to the kitchen.
"Hey" you walk up to the table where some of the team are sitting and eating "i wont stay, but thought i would come and say goodnight, and a thank you to all of you, i haven't been the easiest person to live with at times, and very nonchalant at others, but every single one of you have helped me, helped me heal and become a better person, and without all of you i wouldn't be here, and i certainly wouldn't of found my sister, so i cannot say it enough but I'm grateful to all of you"
Everyone stays silent
"Ok, someone say something because I'm feeling to take these emotions back out"
Nat gets up and gives you a hug, "were just speechless at how far you've come, we love you, you're our family"
They all nod and hold up their drinks.
"tomorrow we celebrate" Bucky shouts
"Yes we do!" You agree
Bucky leaves the table and catches you on your way out
"H, have you spoken to Tony?, i was just thinking, he risked his life for you today, he caught you as you were falling, non of us could of gotten to you that fast, i know its not my place to say, but he made you happy, he made a mistake, everyone can see he regrets it, he wasn't the same with you gone, can you give him another chance, And i mean my god even 1 chance with you should be enough to not fuck it up but.."
"You know you're the second person to give me a pep talk about Tony? Telling me i should talk to him and make up, he obviously means alot to you all. I want to, i really do, but i also don't want to be hurt again Buck"
"Maybe we just don't want to you to waste it, Love is never Easy H, but always worth it"
