~Hideyoshi's POV~

'You really are hopeless' I thought as I gazed into your eyes, well where they were supposed to be. As I heard the CCG getting closer to our location, I picked you up and tossed you over my shoulder. I slightly flinched from him scrapping my earlier wound. I could hear the CCG much clearer now.

'Already?!' I thought making haste towards the exit. "You're such a mess, Ken" I said huffing and panting loudly. As I got closer to the exit, someone blocked my path. 'Who is it now..?' I thought exasperated. The closer I got, the more terrified I became.

It was him... Kishou Arima aka The CGG's Reaper. "It's hopeless now, Ken.." I whispered sadly to your unconscious body. I shifted uncomfortably on each foot under Arima's gaze.

'No need to be scared now, Hide' I thought trying to fix my thoughts.

"Drop the ghoul, Nagachika" Said Arima coldly. I immediately shook my head defiantly. 'I'm not letting you down, Ken. I'm not going to let you suffer alone.'

I tried running towards the opposite direction but I was easily caught up with. 'It's becoming hopeless..' I thought solemnly.

"Arima!" I yelled loudly. He only looked into my eyes as a response and that's all I needed.
"Save Ken and I will help mold him to be a ghoul investigator" I said shakily. Who knows if this half assed plan will even work.

"...." Arima only stared back at me with a blank expression, making me even more nervous. 'I, I want you to live Ken and I'm going to do everything to achieve that goal' I thought selfishly.

Arima came towards us slowly and I resigned to both of our fates as I saw a flicker of emotion in those cold killer eyes. 'I may of messed up..' I thought as my eyes started to tear up. "Take care of him for me. Ken is too nice for such a cruel world..."

The world went black after that...
