What was meant to happen

Harrys POV

(Text message) 

Niall: Harry.

Harry: What Niall?

Niall: There's a new kid in my class named Louis, he is just your type!

Harry: Idk Nialler I haven't dated in a while. No one out there seems like someone I could be interested in.

Niall: I bet Louis will change that. Eheheheh 

Harry: Mhm see you In a bit.

I slip my phone back into my pocket and glance up at the front of the classroom. Mr. Power has a way of making everything he says or does the most boring thing ever. I zone out thinking about what Niall just said. What if he was my type? I erase the thought from my head remembering that I haven't even met the boy yet. I sit there for a while messing with the eraser on the top of my mechanical pencil when class ends. 

I pick up my bookbag and head to my locker which was next to this unoccupied one. It was kind of nice because he had a locker at the very end of the hall so he only had one next to him and no one even used it. He was halfway done switching out his books for the second half of the day when this shorter boy walks over and opens the locker next to his. He looks back into his locker after realizing he was staring at the boy. "Hi" I say to the boy occupying the locker one over.

"Uh, Hi." He manages to say. I can tell by the way he hesitated that he was a little shy. "When did you switch lockers?" I asked him. "Uhm Well I am actually new here." "Oh good to know. When did you move here?" "A few days ago actually, I moved from Doncaster over the weekend." "Well I better get to class before Its too late. Let me know if you need any help with anything." I start to walk away when he says "Actually yeah. Do you know where Mrs. Belviews science class is?" "Yeah, thats actually where I'm headed now." "Okay I will just follow you I guess" He has a slight smile on his face while they walk to her class. We enter class and I go to my seat in the back of the room. He sits in the front. I suddenly realize I forgot to ask his name. He truly is beautiful, his blue eyes and his brown hair. HARRY what are you thinking?!? You don't date remember! Okay. Well maybe you can just go up to him. Maybe just try to be his friend. Yes. Perfect!

Class ends and I walk up to him. "Hey. Me again, I never asked your name" "My names Louis. Whats yours?" "Im Harry" "Cool. I guess I'll see you around Harry." "Okay bye" I walk out of school going to Nialls car. Niall walks over and jumps in. "Hey mate" "Hey Niall" " How was your day?" Niall is one of those friends who is always checking in on you, Its nice. " It was good. How was yours." " It was good Zayn and I were walking down to History and we slid down the stairs. It was hilarious." "Haha, I bet".

We pull up to my house and I get out and walk to the front door. "Thanks Niall" I yell across the lawn. "Your welcome lad" He yells back. I go inside and head into the kitchen and I pull out my phone. I see two notifications from instagram.

I smile a little and click on his profile which leads to two posts. He really is gorgeous. 

I set my phone down feeling really tired all of the sudden. I go upstairs to lie down and after a couple minutes I fall asleep
