Chapter 3: A Day At The Park!

{Avery's POV}
As I see Lisa walk away I walk towards my room. OMG!! is Jazzy still sleeping. WOW! Anyways I decide to leave her alone since she was up till 2:00 a.m. texting someone. I grab my phone and text Kiki.
To:Kiki
From: Avery
Hay! It's ur gurll Avery. I was wondering if u wanna go to the park with me and Lisa. If u can meet us there at 12:45 p.m. (It's 12:30 now). Text me when u can. Love u 😘 Later!
I lock my phone and shove it in my pocket. I go to my mom and sit on her bed.
"Hay mom! Can I please go to the park with Lisa and Kiki please." I say all in one breathe. She looks at me then nods. Yes! I'm going. My mom doesn't pay much attention to me anymore or Jazzy or her husband. Oh well? At least I'm going to the park. Yay! I grab my pink sweatshirt and slip it on. I put my wallet and phone in my pocket, grab my skates, and head out.
As I walk into the hallway I see Lisa with her skates.
"Hay! You ready to go!" I say. She nods in excitement and we're on our way.
It takes us about 5 minutes to get to the park. The park has 4 swings, two sets of monkey bars, 1 huge slide, 1 small slide and a jungle Jim (if u don't know what that is please look it up it is SUPER fun). I skate to the bench and sit down.
"You can go play now I'll meet u in a bit." I say.
"Kk." Lisa says and she runs to the monkey bars. I pull out my phone and I see that someone texted me.
To: Avery
From: Kiki
Hey. Guess what! I'm coming to the park. See YA there! Love ya💖😘.
I smile and slide my phone back in my pocket. I wait for about 2 minutes then I see Kiki walking towards me. She looks SUPER cute! She is wearing a floral tank top, teal skinny jeans with floral boots. Her hair is down in curls with ombré highlights.
"Hey!"Kiki says. When she gets close enough I pull her into a hug and she hugs back.
"I haven't seen u since Friday at school!!!" I say.
"It's Saturday Avery!" She says and we both laugh and smile.
"You ready to have some fun!" I say.
"Yea! Where's Lisa, I love that little girl!" Says Kiki. We both look around for her. No Lisa. I check the monkey bars and Kiki checks the slides. Then we check every where else in the park. Still no Lisa.
"OMG KIKI, LISA's MOM IS GONNA KILL ME IF SHE FOUNDS OUT THAT I LOST HER DAUGHTER!!!!!!" I scream in distress.
