Saving Tara (5x01)

Maria/Tes P.O.V

Sook & I sobbed over Tara. The commotion woke up Lafayette. He rushed down & was horrified. We were covered in a pool of her blood with Debbie's headless corpse behind us. As he grabbed a towel, we explained the gory scene. To make matters worse, Pam came in shouting for Eric. It didn't take long for her to come to the kitchen.

"Colour me impressed. You guys know how to party." She smirked

"Eric's not here. Get out of our house." I snarled

"You mean Eric's house." Pam annoyingly corrected

"Who gives a fuck?!" I yelled

"Pam if you have any decent or sense you'll leave now. Leave before I get pissed & beat you with your own fucking arm." I threatened as my eyes changed & my fangs dropped

"Fine. If you see him...tell him. Tell him I'm sorry." Pam regretfully asked as she held back tears

"Hold up. Hold up." Lafayette pleaded, stopping Pam from leaving

"Turn her for us." He begged

"Turn her? I don't even like her." Pam scoffed

"Tara hates vampires." I pointed out

"Bitch she took a bullet for Sookie. You really gonna deny her a chance to live." He argued

"I can't be the only 1 who's noticed she's missing a third of her head. Now can I." Pam worried

"Even if I tried. What's to say she won't rise up out of the ground tomorrow night completely & utterly fucktarded." Pam refused

"You have to try." Sook shouted as Pam headed out. With our window closing, Lafayette panicked & elbowed me.

"I'll owe you a favour! Whatever you want. I'll do it." I promised which got her back into the house

"If you can use your magic hands or your super snatch, whatever power you have over Eric to fix what's broken between us & you'll still owe me 1. You've got yourself a deal." She offered as she casually leaned on a dining chair

"Fine, just do it." I quickly accepted

"Swear on it." She pushed

"Yes for fucks sake. Get bloody well on your end." I snapped

Pam finally moved & bit into her wrist. Lafayette opened her mouth as Sook & I propped her head up. Pam's blood dripped into her mouth. She was taking it as her head began to heal. But, she still smelled dead. I began praying this would work as I couldn't accept life without her.

Pam gave blood until her wound sealed. Lafayette & Sook got to digging while I found spare clothes for Pam. Of course, she was wearing expensive stuff & didn't want to ruin them. She took the opportunity to make sex jokes about me & Eric. I didn't indulge her despite her relentlessness. I got my revenge by dressing her in a bright yellow cotton sweatsuit. She knew my play & complained as she put it on.

When she was dressed, we headed down. They were nearly done with the shallow grave & laid Tara on the lawn. I took a shovel from Sook & started digging fast. Once it was deep enough, I got out. Now it was Pam's turn to get into the hole. She groaned as settled into the dirt.

"Bring me the girl." She sighed

I picked her up & softly laid her down next to Pam. Sook helped me out of the grave.

"She smells." Pam groaned

"Is that bad?" Sook asked

"Can't imagine it's good." She sarcastically answered
