Inside, revealed a beautiful neckalce. It was a small, light blue crystal hanging on a silver chain. I couldn't  wipe the smile from my face as I read the letter.

"Hope you like it! We know how much you loved the city crystal,  so we tried to find a shard! Lucky you, we did. Blare used her magic to make it larger, because it was as small as a flea before! PS: Blare says there's still some magic left in it!"

"Thank you so much dude!" I said, almost in a whisper.

"Well, I'm not the only one you should thank. Lets get going." Techna said, grinning as she lent me her hand to help me up.  I accept her hand and stand up.

"I'm guessing you want  to head home first, huh?" Techna asked.

"Yeah..." I sadly responded. I don't want to go back and have to suffer through endless hours of acting proper and lady-like. "I've got no choice, I'm afraid."

"I feel bad for you, but the plan will happen soon okay? Just hang on for one more month. Meet us as the Inn, we'll be waiting."

.~+~++~+~++~++.

As the mansion rises on the horizon, I sigh loudly. Techna pats my back, reassuring me, and stops. She can't be seen in the city with me, because she'd be in more trouble than I am about to be.

As I enter the town, I hear gasps and murmurs. Feeling very anxious, I quicken my pace, and approach the mansion. I see Anarion, the maid, and run towards her.

"Eli! You're back! Why so soon?" Anarion is a pretty, young brunette, only about 20. She ties her hair in a ponytail, even though her hair is short, and it doesn't always work out.

"I have buisness at the Inn later. Mind if you don't tell Auntie?" I smile, knowing the answer.

"Sure, hun! Just remember the promise. I don't want to lose my job..." She responded, sharing a knowing smile.

She obviously knows how much I dislike the mansion.

"Well, get going! No time to waste! You're friends are all waiting!" Anarion grinned.

I nod, and sneak around the side of the building, and take a breath when I notice the window is locked. I carefully scale the building, and use the window key Anarion gave me. I waltz in, and breathe in the familiar air, hearing a loud knock on the door.

"I know you're in there! The guards spotted you!"

I guess auntie had put up more security for me for when I get home. I curse, and open the door and, as expected, it was in fact my Aunt Lisabell. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate her. In fact, I love her a lot, but she can be really strict and protective.

"Where have you been!? I've been worried sick! What happened to your clothes?! blah blah blah" She yelled, gesturing to my dress, as it was covered in dust, dirt and mud.

Her lecture falls deaf on my ears
