Chapter fourty

Two weeks later at the next appointment with the doctor. Our thoughts are connected now but we kept this also a secret. "Are you excited?" The doctor asked smiling. "Of course," Loki replied holding my hand. "The baby is alright. About 7 months until you will give birth. So you have enough time for everything. But no fights as long as you are pregnant and don't push over your limits." The doctor demanded softly. I nodded softly. "I will watch after her. That she doesn't do anything stupid." Loki said laughing. "Funny you idiot." I chuckled as I stood up again. 

"Is there anything you want to ask?" The doctor asked us. "Not now," I replied nicely. "Good. Then I see you again in one month. If anything feels wrong feel free to come here every time." He said before he left. "Seven months is a long time," I said. "Yes. But we have enough time to organize everything and after the next appointment we can make everything official." Loki said smiling.

"And what are we saying when we or I need to go to a mission?" I asked worriedly as we walked towards the kitchen. "We will think about it when the time has come," Loki replied smiling as I sat down at a chair. "What will you think about when the time has come?" Thor asked suspiciously. "Nothing that you should worry about," Loki said annoyed. "I am curious too," Nat said as she sat down next to me. "It is nothing special. But my powers are not strong enough to go on missions in the next time." I replied. *"Sorry. That was the best lie I could found so fast." I talked to Loki in my thoughts and he replied. "No. That was a good lie. They will believe that."* 

"It is about the accident that happened back in Asgard?" Thor asked worriedly. "Kinda. But I just used too much of my power in such a short time. And I need time to rest. No need to worry." I replied smiling. "If you say so," Nat said as she took a bite of an apple. "Darling do you want something to eat or drink?" Loki asked me nicely. "Just a cup of tea my love," I replied smiling. "And what do you want to eat? You have to eat." Loki said determining. "Loki!" I said a bit annoyed. "He is right you have to eat. Otherwise, you will be grumpy the whole day and you are starting to get grumpy again." Nat said laughing.

"Fine, I will eat something. Just hand me over some bread and the cheese. And an apple, please. And the jam." I said nicely. Loki, Thor, and Nat looked confused at me. "And maybe some pineapples." I continued. "Sure," Loki said and brought me everything I said before. "Okay. Why are you all staring at me? I still don't like that." I asked suspiciously. "At first you said you don't want to eat and then you order the whole fridge," Thor said jokingly. I stood up and got very angry. "Don't ever judge a woman when she eats as much as she wants to. Do you understand?" I said as I stood in front of him pointing at him with the knife I wanted to use for the jam. "Does someone has their period and didn't eat by now?" Tony said as he entered the kitchen.

"I am sorry. I have to eat something now." I said as I sat down again and took a bite of my bread with cheese and jam on it. "This looks disgusting," Peter said as he entered the kitchen too. "This isn't disgusting. It is the perfect amount of cheese and sweetness for a bread." I replied as I took another bite of my bread. "I will try it," Peter said as he sat down at the table and copied my bread with cheese and jam. He took a bite and another one. "Tell me. What do you think?" I asked him suspiciously. "That is edible. I kinda like it in some weird way. But this is not going to be my favorite." He replied laughing. 

"Someone has secrets. Believe me. And you could find out if you want to." Cap said to Strange. Let us talk later again. We can find out until the party next month." Strange replied as they entered the kitchen. "is there a meeting we were not invited to?" Cap asked curiously. "No. Just trying new food combinations." Peter said laughing. "I will go and check after Morgan and Pepper. I just wanted some coffee before I start work." Tony said as he got a call and answered the phone. "Where?" He asked worriedly. "On our way." He replied.

"Suit up. We have a problem in the city. Some sort of aliens approached." Tony said determining. "Spirit why aren't you coming?" Cap asked suspiciously. "I have not enough power and the doctor said that I can't go and fight for a while," I replied softly. "No time to talk about it now. The others have to hurry now. We need everyone we have." Tony said as he suited up. *"I can stay if you need me." Loki said in his thoughts. "I will be fine here. Just be safe." I replied* I walked over to Loki and kissed him. "I love you. Stay safe." I said worriedly. "I love you too. And I will stay safe." Loki replied before all of them left and I was sitting alone in the kitchen.

I eat the rest of my breakfast and drink up my tea before I cleaned up. "What do I do now?" I asked myself walking around the tower. "I could watch a movie or take a bath. Or I just do both. Yes, I will do both." I laughed. "I hope no one notice that I am talking to myself and laugh about my jokes," I said as I walked over to the elevator and entered it heading to my apartment.
