Chapter IV: Awakened Power

*Trigger Warning, there will be some Adult themes in this chapter as well as some HEAVY and DARK stuff but thought I should put this here just in case XD*

As I laid in my bed sound asleep I was awoken by the sound of Aurora screaming in my ears.

"Darius! Darius! Darius, wake up!" Aurora shouted before she slapped me across the face with her tiny hands.

"Wha-I'm up, I'm up, what the hell Aurora?" I groggily asked as I quickly scan the hut for any signs of danger.

"What's wrong? And did you just slap me?" I asked as I cupped my cheek which was still irradiating pain.

"Well, you wouldn't wake up, and I tried shouting and screaming but you didn't wake up so I had no other choice but to slap you, I'm sorry if it hurt." Aurora replied flying up to my face and kissing my cheek.

"There, better!" Aurora exclaimed, giggling and giving me a sweet smile.

"Hmph, next time just tickle my nose or plug it or something please, I'd rather not get woken up getting slapped or worse." I replied, still surveying the hut for any immediate dangers.

"There, a reason you woke me up?" I asked getting out of the bed and pouring myself a cup of the gold liquid and downing it.

"You really didn't hear any of that?" Aurora asked, giving me a surprised glare.

"Hear what?" I replied looking around then, I quieted myself and focused my hearing and that's when I heard it, a distant but, obvious sound of engines either powering up or down like fighter jets or commercial airplanes, and I walked over to the window sill and peeked my head just slightly so I could see what was going on just outside.

As I peeked my head I saw four weird space-ship looking vehicles parked right on the shore of the beach, they had a triangular shape to them and it seemed as if the pilots would board the ships from underneath as the pilot's seat came down from the chassis of the jet. The jets also had identical paint jobs, Purple and Gold, kind of gaudy if you asked me. As I continued to look around I saw Saren facing away from the hut and it looked like he placed his hand on the holster of this gun as if he was readying for something to go down and across from him stood four figures, I couldn't tell much about them due to the underbelly lights of the jets illuminating them but, Saren seemed agitated, I could tell from his body language and movements that whatever they said to him put him on edge.

"Who are they?" Aurora whispered peeking her tiny head past the window sill.

"I don't know but, Saren doesn't seem happy to see them." I replied, still focusing on the four individuals. I noticed that one of them was smaller than the rest and seemed to be a woman judging by her body-language and movements she seems to be the leader of the four of individuals, as she was the only one not crossing her arms and seemed to be the one talking the most to Saren, the one next to her was almost twice her size in height and weight and seemed like the muscle of the group, I couldn't really make out anything from him as he was nearly completely still like a statue. The other guy seemed more relaxed, and he had his arms over his head and seemed to be swaying as if he didn't care and the last guy had his arms crossed but looked over his shoulder as if looking out for something or someone.

"Is Saren in danger?" Aurora asked as she perched on my shoulder and hid behind my ear.

"I don't know but I don't have a good feeling about this, how about you?" I asked Aurora as I backed from the window and started looking around for something to protect myself and Aurora.

"Me too, something doesn't feel right." Aurora replied squeezing herself closer and closer to the nape of my neck.

"Yea, I know, here try helping me find something to protect us." I said to Aurora. After I said that Aurora flew from my shoulder and began flying around the hut helping me locate something to defend ourselves if needed.
