"We all go I hope that all of you really think about what it is that you want to leave we all have materials and things that we like but what you leave should be bigger than you and I really believe that" -Cameron Boyce
Cameron left behind so many people. Cameron was one of the most talented, fun loving, caring, compassionate, friendly, happy, and most real person on earth. I don't know too many people who would have such a pure heart to take in the poor and help the needy. I sometimes wonder what more he could have possibly done because he had already done so much and it's a shame that such a lovely kind hearted soul was taken from us. If I could say anything to his parents I would say that while I don't fully understand I do have empathy and that I do know what it's liked to lose so much. However I would say that it's not the same on any level and that sometimes God has a plan for us even though we don't know what the plan is. That's the point we're not supposed to know God's plan. Yes it sucks but that the hole that resides in Cameron's parents is huge and will always be there that eventually someday it will get better. It will take time and it will always hurt but that I'd like to let them know that they raised their kid the right way and that's what counts. They raised their kid to go beyond expectations and rise above everything despite any challenges that may present themselves. I am no mother but I am a daughter and I've learned in my nineteen years of life that death never gets easier. The more you experience it doesn't mean it's any easier. Cameron was special. He was more than your average person he was a huge part of what made Descendants more entertaining. Without Cameron Descendants would have dullness because the attitude in the room changed when he was in it as Kenny Ortega the director of the three Descendants movies once said. "When Cameron walked in the energy shifted and the lights changed he was bioluminescent he was lit from the inside out" -Kenny Ortega. If anyone would get on board with the idea of making a whole movie dedicated to Cameron Boyce I hope that they would use this story as a template because this is what this story is written for. It's a story idea for what I hope one day will be a movie. I don't expect recognition from any of this the only thing I hope to get out of this story is a sense of closure both for myself and the entire world who grew up watching Cameron. He got one thing right and that is that "What you leave has to be bigger than you" Cameron certainly exceeded this. He was an exceptional young man who had so much more promise to this world. With that let's take a look at some of these images and a video link of Cameron's memorial video made by Disney. The tribute video was aired before and after the premiere of Descendants. First the pictures then the video.
I choose these photos because they took out to me and I hope you like them. In the emotional tribute for Cameron it says starts out by saying everything you are...every smile...every laugh...every dance...every hug...every moment...everyone you touched...you mean everything to us. Then the tribute goes on to say that it's never easy to lose a loved one, a friend, a hero. No one deals with loss the same way, sorrow, grief. It's normal to feel confused, sorry, angry, sad. It's important to cry out all those feelings, talk, write, draw. Reach out to a friend share happy memories, family member. Get enough rest, exercise, sleep. You'll feel better with support, hugs, hope, and time.
