Hi, I'm Lily, well that's my nickname. My real name is Lilith as in the demon, yes I know weird to have a demon's name well I would normally agree, but my pack is one of the few that have hybrids, I am a witch wolf to be exact so it's not that weird for us to have names like that with a decent amount of us having a background. Well back to today, today is my birthday, normally I couldn't care less but today I was turning 24 and because it's my golden birthday I can finally shift. But tonight of course had to be a full moon, and also not helping my case it was the first day of fall so there was a mate ball. You see every time the seasons shift we host a mate ball, I know that 4ish a year is a lot but we were in Hawaii and most of all mates in our pack are from here so everyone is excited. But the 2nd reason we hosted these was so any pack could visit to try and find their pack member's mate.
It was finally 6pm and the dance started at 7:30 so I had about an hour to get ready. I did my hair and make up, and finally put on my dress. My hair was a mix of blue, black, and white. I put it in 2 loose braids. I also did a blue and black eyeshadow that matched my hair and dress. I put on my heels, after that I checked the time, 7:15. I got into the car and drove to town hall. Normally people like myself don't dress up well, at least this much but today we have a visiting pack. Once I parked my car I looked at 7:29, perfect. I walked inside and saw everyone walking around and talking. Almost a second after I entered our Alpha walked on to the stage, he whistled and everyone stopped and looked at him. "Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Annual Fall Mate ball, as you know today we have some very special guests." Just then the main doors opened revealing a pack, I was hit instantly by two main scents. "Please welcome Alpha Colby, and his pack!" Everyone cheered but I just stared at the pack. Who I assume is Alpha Colby made his way up to the stage. "Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank you all for inviting us to this event." He quickly made his way off stage. As the other pack mixed and mingled around I still couldn't shake 2 scents. A few moments later I got mindlinked ~"Lilith, Please meet me in my office" "Yes Alpha"*~ I started to make my way to his office. I wonder what's going on? Why does the Alpha want to see me? I shook my head and knocked on his office door. "Enter" I slowly opened the door to only be hit by part of the scent I can't seem to shake, I saw Alpha Colby, and who I assume was his Beta and his mate. The beta had blonde hair whereas his mate had a vibrant hot pink. My wolf wanted to run to Alpha Colby but I am very controlled of my wolf. "You wanted to see me" "Yes, we have a matter to discuss, but are waiting for a few more to join" I nodded and sat in a chair, a minute later 3 more people entered, one short brown hair girl, a man with his hair pulled into a bun, and a man with half red, and half black hair, his scent hit me. It was the other one I couldn't get out of my mind. He looked at me wide eyed, then he looked at his Alpha. My Alpha looked at the two of them, *ahem* "Now that everyone is here, Alpha Colby would you like to explain what's going on?" I looked up at Colby, he nodded and looked at me. "So, the reason I asked your Alpha to call you here was beca-" I felt a pain in my back, I tried to move my seating position but it didn't help. The pain suddenly worsened, I flinched at the sudden outburst of pain. I carefully stood up ~*"Alpha, I need to leave" "Lilith are you even paying attention to the conversation?" "No, it's my golden birthday and I'm pretty sure I'm about to shift" "Okay, but-"*~ I whimpered as the pain worsened yet again, at this point everyone was silent and looking at me. I looked at my Alpha he nodded and mindlinked me ~*"Go"*~ I got up and left as fast as I could. Alpha Colby, and the red haired man both went to stop me but thankfully my Alpha started talking. I made it out to my car before it got even worse. Shit, shit shit. I took off my heels and got into the driver's seat. As soon as I got home I ran to the backyard carefully taking my dress off. I was behind a folding curtain when the pain started worsening again. I screamed out in pain this time dropping to the ground. I felt all of my bones breaking and shifting, I tried to scream out but this time it was a howl. A few minutes I could hear wolves approaching. I was going to try and yell at them to leave me be when I was mindlinked ~*"They are there to help, let them" "ok"*~ That was all I managed to say before I felt my bones moving again slowly. Out of nowhere the 2 girls from my Alpha's office were in front of me naked. "Odeжu'' (Clothes) They looked at me before clothes appeared on them. They looked at me confused for a brief moment, they were interrupted by me howling out in pain. They both rushed to my side, I was curled up in a ball on the grass, I soon heard arguing "Sam, I can't she's right there and in pain" Colby quickly stated "I know, but she doesn't know yet. Kat and Devyn are there right now helping" I assumed that was Sam. Soon I heard two more voices join in, "Colby calm down" Soon followed by "Where is she?" The sound was like music to my ears. I mentally whimpered when he stopped talking.
