Nightmares

3rd person POV

It was the middle of the night when he Harry heard yelling. He got up in a hurry because he was confused on what was happening. Harry wiped his eyes groggily and headed down stairs. He heard the fat lady talking to someone outside the door, so curiosity got the better off him and he headed to were the commotion. "YOU ARE NOT A GRYFFINDOR", the fat lady yelled at the unknown person. He heard the person groan and he knew it was Malfoy. "Whats going on", Harry said quietly. He saw Malfoy standing still and the Fat Lady red in the face. "What are you doing here Malfoy", Harry said quirking his eyebrow. "Can we talk", Malfoy said quietly.

Harry was confused, why was Malfoy being so nice and calm? Harry nodded and allowed Draco to come in the common room. The fat lady was still angry but Harry just rolled his eyes and closed the door. Draco was looking ashamed so Harry was quite worried. "What's wrong Malfoy", Harry said confused. Draco just mumbled something and looked away. "Speak up", Harry said more sternly. Draco scoffed but looked up. "I had a nightmare", Draco said quietly. Harry had a sad smile on his face. "Are you okay", Harry said quietly. "This is stupid, why did I come here", Draco said mumbling. Draco turned to walk away but Harry grabbed his arm. "Why did you come to me then", Harry said tilting his head. Draco scoffed before speaking quietly. "Because when we slept in the same room in the begging of our 8th year because of one of the Weasleys prank, I didn't have nightmares", Draco said quietly and looking down. Harry chuckled quietly and deeply. "Would you like to sleep with me", Harry said smiling at Draco. He quickly said "not in the way" causing him to blush profusely.

Draco nodded and got closer to Harry. "But", Harry said causing Draco to groan. "You need to give me a hug", Harry said smiling. Draco blushed a deep red but rapped his arms around Harry's neck. Harry wrapped his arms around Draco's waist pulling him closer. They held eachother closely for a couple minutes before Draco pulled away. Harry smiled and Draco looked down blushing. "Take my hand", said Harry. Harry offered his hand which Draco gladly took. They began walking up the stairs quietly. Harry put his pointer finger up to his lips and motioned for Draco to be quiet. Draco was confused when he realized they were passing Ron's room. Draco shaped his lips in a "o" and continued walking quietly. The good thing for them was that Harry had his own room.

They entered Harry's room and it was pure red and gold. Draco rolled his eyes and Harry chuckled. Harry walked over to his bed and plopped down. Draco was still standing there so Harry motioned for him to come over which Draco gladly did. He just sat down on the edge of Harry's bed stiffly. Harry chuckled since you could tell Draco didn't know what to do. "Lets go to sleep", Harry said smiling. Draco nodded and got closer to Harry to the point where there knees where touching. Harry groaned and jumped on his bed backwards. Draco chuckled and went on the other side of the bed. Draco removed his jumper and layed down besides Harry. They were laying next to eachother facing the same way so they were looking into eachothers eyes. "What was your nightmare about", Harry said quietly. Draco sighed and began taking. "He who should not be named", Draco said looking down. "Mr. No nose", Harry said smirking. Draco chuckled and nodded. "What happened", Harry said getting onto his elbows so that he was kind of sitting up. " Draco pushed Harry's elbows making Harry fall back onto his pillow laying fully down. Draco smiled and Harry pouted. "The usual you know, getting the dark mark", Draco said, his eyes getting watery. Harry nodded and pulled Draco into his chest making Draco yelp. "Harry", Draco said getting startled. Harry smiled, Draco called him Harry. "Go to sleep", Harry said tucking his chin on top of Draco's head. Harry saw Draco smile and get more comfortable into Harry's chest. Their breathing became even and their eyes began closing. "Good night Draco", Harry said smiling. "G'night Harry", Draco said smiling as well. They both feel asleep in eachother arms with no nightmares in sight.
