This novel started when I was dealing with my own personal issues. I remember being warned that my unsympathetic behavior will force me back to the Philippines unless I learn to be nice, control my temper and avoid disagreements with everyone around me in Dubai (U.A.E.). If anything, I wish someone would at least try to listen and understand that I can't always be at my best.
I see people as quite unpredictable. There is no telling what is going on in their heads.
"SYNTHETIC BLUE" touches on the psychological effects of judgmental behavior, unpredictability and social deviance (being different from the rest). It was inspired by a rewrite I made of "BNA: Brand New Animal" on my phone. The design for PM Sandberg is based on the show's villain Alan Sylvasta, except I gave my original character a different look and personality.
The overall visuals bring the readers to experience Blue City and the kind of people living there in the distant future.
