1. The awakening

Aspen's pov:

It was a beautiful night, no scratch that it was a magical night in Mystic falls. The forest was more than alive.

That is when she realised it was time. As she was running through the forest, she thought of her children and how her sister used put a spell on her to fall into a deep slumber after the birth of her children.

After my youngest was born I was put to sleep for one thousand years and as the daughter of mother nature I was supposed to follow the rules.

For years I've had nothing but a glimpse of my children and now I finally get to see them cherish them and love them.

"Aspen?" A voice I thought I'd never here again "William?" I asked "oh my god your finally awake" he said and hugged me "what year is it?" I asked "October 28th 2010" he said (it is the release date of episode 7 of season 2)

"How are you still here?" I asked "your mother" he said "speaking of my mother, do you know wher-" I was cut of by a sweet and soft voice "I'm right here sweetie" My mom said while coming out of the tallest tree "mom" I said and hugged her tightly "oh my darling I've missed you so much" she said "I did look after my grandkids all though your third son had daggered his siblings and put them in coffins, but his intentions were pure" she said "so can you please explain me what is going on?" I asked "yes my sweet Aspen" she said and started explaing me about how my half-sister gave away my first born to my other half-sister and how she turned all my children into blood thirsty beasts the night my youngest was killed. She told me that my children' uncle had been hunting them for years and how he made their lives a living hell.

And by the time mother and will told me about my kids the moon began to set and the sun rise.

"Mother, what can I do I'm helpless I can't do anything until I'm 27" I said to her "yes, so we have 1 month" William said "until then we will watch from a safe distance and maybe even let them know that we exist" he continued "I've never said sorry to you" he said "I should have known that you would be asleep like sleeping beauty and I thought that I would have to come and kiss you so that you'll wake up" he said "it's fine William you wouldn't have known about it and have you broken the curse?" I asked him "yes and it seems that our son sure does carry the gean" he said "he wants to break the curse that Ester had put on him, he's on the screech for a doppelgäger" (hopefully got the spelling currect) "and she is here in Mystic falls" he said "okay I think I need to get into the latest fashion" I said and he chuckled "yes let's go it's a long walk from here" he said "I will see you soon, mother" I said "until then I shall see you my sweet Aspen" she said and kissed my forehead and disappeared into a snake and then into butterflies.

"Shall we go?" I asked "we shall, but I have to warn you they are vampires and they can be a little bit out of hand" he said "who were they again?" I questioned "stefan and damon Salvatore" he said and continued "they have met the second
dobbelgäger who is Katarina patrova and now they are close to the latest doppelgäger, Elena Gilbert" he explained "you do know that I'm a hybrid like our son right?" He asked "yes I am aware that you are a warewolf and a witch" I said "I missed you" he said and kissed me "I've missed you to" I said "now I did get you some clothes of this century" he said

"I have a question" I said "ask ahead" he said "why didn't you save our children from them?" I asked "1 I was locked up like you but I was forced to see Mikel kill my brother and my family just cause he could not find me 2 after I got free from that I was visited by your mother and she had granted me immortality after that she told that she was going to send me to the future in the 18 hundreds where I met the Salvatore brothers from them on they only knew me as a witch 3 I had dessscated Mikel about 8 times and yet he keeps on popping up but our son Finn he has been daggered for almost 900 years" he said and I glared at him "what I don't make the rules, your mother does" he said as we walked on a wooden bridge it has rusted nails sticking out and yet did not hurt me.
