Emiko stretched her arms as her teacher finally announced lunch. She somehow accidentally pushed her pencil pouch off her desk and yelped as each individual pen hit the floor. Unbeknownst to her, Tsukishima just so happened to be watching her, he let out a small snicker. He pushed his chair back, ready to stand so he could lend her a helping hand before two familiar faces pushed their way into their classroom.

The red head immediately noticed Emiko and duck down to help her pick up her pens. "Wa!" Emiko yelped before realizing who it was, "Oh, Hinata! Thank you so much but I can clean this up," she said while giving Hinata a honest smile. He smiled back, "Don't worry about it! Kageyama get down here and help!" He yelled to the taller boy who entered with him, "Oh right,"He responded.

Emiko thought that it was a bit too much to have three people picking up a couple of pens but she was content that they were willing to help.

Once they were done Emiko carefully placed her closed pencil case back onto her desk and turned to the volleyball players with her hands clasped behind her back, "So what are you guys doing here?" She asked. Kageyama and Hinata both stared at her for a little longer than they should have had until Hinata shook his head and responded, "We're actually here to ask Tsukishima a question!" Emiko's smile faltered.

Instead of replying she stepped aside to reveal Tsukishima who looked away from the trio just in time before all eyes were on him. Hinata and Kageyama inched closer to Tsukishima who had a raised eyebrow.

Emiko was about to unwrap her lunch but curiously got the best of her so she decided to watch their conversation.

It seems like Hinata and Kageyama were desperately asking for Tsukishima's help for... tutoring?

"Terribly sorry, but you'll have to come back during my regular business hours," Tsukishima replied while putting on his headphones. Emiko smiled slightly at his replied but then frowned when she realized how angry Hinata was. Kageyama seemed unfazed but that was seemingly normal.

"Wait, do you guys need help with tutoring?" Emiko asked the boys before they turned around to leave. Hinata blushed, not wanting to seem like an idiot, "Yeah, we really need to do well on our terms. So far we've had that bully tutoring us but he's been getting to irritated," he said. Emiko glanced at Tsukishima who was too busy opening his lunch to care. Secretly, he was listening to their conversation and almost said something back after hearing Hinata call him a bully.

"Sounds like him," Emiko replied. Tsukishima sent  glare at the trio, Emiko caught it and sent one straight back before returning to her conversation. "If you'd like, I can tutor you two?" She said a bit nervously. They're faces lit up, Kageyama's a bit less noticeable that Hinata's. "That's would be great," said the red head as he jumped in excitement. Emiko smiled as she began taking out her notes.

Tsukishima stared at her smile, him on the other hand frowned. Yamaguchi walked up to him and noticed his sour expression, "What's wrong, Tsukishima?" Tsukishima jumped a little. "Nothing, let's go," he said before standing up and walking towards the door. "Oh ok," Yamaguchi said as he followed behind him. He waved towards Emiko, Hinata and Kageyama before leaving the classroom.

"Hey Tsukishima are you ok?" Tsukishima looked at Yamaguchi, "Yeah... it's just annoying," he replied. "What is?" Questioned Yamaguchi. "The way she smiles at those two idiots... it's irritating." "Oh... are you mad because she's not smiling at you?" Yamaguchi said curiously. Tsukishima paused before sending a look to his best friend, "Of course not." "Right," Yamaguchi said with a smile. The subject was quickly changed as they continued on their way.

"Can we do this again sometime?" Hinata asked as he stood up with kageyama, ready to leave. "Yeah of course," Emiko responded with a smile. Just at that moment, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi returned to their classroom. "Actually you two could come over and we could study at my cafe at any time!" "Woah! You have a cafe?!" Hinata asked with excitement in his eyes. Emiko's eyes widened at his excitement and she rubbed her neck, "Well technically it's my mom's cafe but she wouldn't mind if you two came along!" Hinata and Kageyama nodded, they were about to thank her and leave before Yamaguchi tagged in, "Hey would it be ok if Tsukishima and I came along?" "Wait what?" Tsukishima asked. "I don't need any-" he continued before Yamaguchi nudged his side.

Emiko looked surprised and Hinata and Kageyama both looked confused. "Sure but I'm not sure if I'd be able to help you as much," Emiko tilted her head and said with a non confident smile. "It's fine! This way we can all have some extra practice with the material!" Yamaguchi said with a bright smile. Tsukishima stood there just as confused as the other players. He watched as Emiko bid the others goodbye and promised to show up to practice later today. Of course she had her friendly smile on.

Tsukishima frowned right in time for Emiko to glance at him. Noticing his frown, she frowned as well. Tsukki's eyes widened a bit, not intending to make her angry at all. It seemed like whatever he did Emiko always had a frown saved especially for him and Tsukki hated it.

Even after the closet joke and the walk home she still hasn't changed her initial reaction to him. Whatever he thought. She can hate me for all I care. Tsukishima said as he sat back down in his chair after the teacher announced the end of lunch time.

Emiko jumped slightly after realizing she was the only one not sitting. Tsukki watched as she apologized and quickly pulled out her chair, causing a scraping sound which she also apologized for. He watched as she let out a sigh and almost banged her head on the desk in slight frustration.

He watched as she pulled out her pens and let out a breath of air. Quickly composing herself. Tsukishima watched as she put a small smile on her face as the teacher began teaching. For some reason he couldn't get his eyes off her.
