You couldn't believe it. Stever Rogers had kissed Sharon. While in a relationship with you. To hell with the Civil War, how could he do this? You supported Tony's ideas yet you stayed with Steve, just because you loved him. And all this time...he didn't. He was still stuck on Peggy and Sharon. You respected his love for her but he told you he was over her and that's why you got into a relationship with him. 

There was nothing left on Team Cap to stay for, so you went with your beliefs. Went on to Team Ironman. You couldn't believe that you did it, but you told Tony that they were heading to the airport. Hearts were broken, tears were spilled but, it was your beliefs. 

At the airport, you walked to Team Ironman and left Steve behind. You fought against your own team, your own friends, your own love. And just when Tony and Steve were coming to a truce, Tony found out about Bucky. You honestly didn't know. That's what broke you even more. First the kiss, the lies about Peggy, now he was also keeping secrets? It wasn't about the fact that Bucky killed Howard and his wife, but the fact that Steve kept this secret this whole time. You instantly knew that it was unfair to Tony. He deserved to know, and not in this manner.

After the Civil War, Infinity War happened. You saw Steve, on the battlefield, at the facility, but you didn't want to confront him at all. You couldn't get distracted while Thanos was showing up. But Thanos won anyway. The Avengers lost. Tony was in space. Bucky dusted. Sam dusted. Half of the world dusted. And Thanos, nobody knew where he was. 

"Y/n."

You broke out your trance. You were currently standing on the balcony of the facility. 12 days since Thanos won and still counting. You gulped. You knew what he was here for. To explain himself, to offer a second chance. No, it took a lot from you just to show up here.

"Steve..." you said. He walked and stood beside you on the balcony. 

"Why did you do it?" he asked, still looking over the scenery. 

You looked up at him. "Do what, Steve?"

"Walk." He turned to look down at you. "You walked, Y/n. From the team and from me. You told Tony about the airport. How could you?"

Your blood suddenly boiled. "How could I?! How could you Steve! You kissed Sharon, you were hung up on Peggy! And I respect your love for her but why would you tell me that you were over her when you clearly weren't? You could've just said and we wouldn't be here!" 

"Oh yeah, just tell you like "Hi, Y/n! I know I'm in a relationship with you but I actually really still love Peggy, so bye!" Like that?" Steve asked, his tone rising. 

Tears threatened to spill from your eyes but you blinked them back. "It wasn't my fault, Steve! I always did support Tony but I stayed! For you! Don't you get that? I believed in the other team!"

"So it's all about Tony now, huh?" You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Was he okay? It felt like whatever you were saying was just going past the top of his head. You frowned slightly and looked at him in disbelief. How could he even believe that? You loved him, you loved him a little too much! And he doesn't get that. 

"Really, Steve?" you asked.

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because you support Tony so much you could've just loved him!" Steve countered. 

"No, I wouldn't have! Because he was not the one who woke up next to me. He didn't bring me coffee every morning, nor did he watch the entire series of Harry Potter with me." You were almost crying now. "The. Was. You. Steve!" you articulated each point with a shove with your finger to his chest.
