Atop the Tokyo Tower...

The city is so grand. I can feel the energy of the people pulsating through my veins.
The many, many people who live in Japan.
One of them, I'm bound to meet. Whether it be by chance, or something else.

I looked up at the night sky through the observatory windows. The stars were twinkling so brightly. Although to most, Tokyo Tower is closed at this time of night, the kind people here allowed me special access.
Sometimes, when I feel stressed or lonely, I come here. I usually just blend into the crowd and zone out here.

However, today, I have a plan. It's a plan to totally turn the entirety of Japan on its head.

I pulled out my shiny laptop and logged onto my account. Using the voice chatting website, Harmony, I already got a voice chat request.

"Yo, it's DJ Mash here. You ready?" she asked me immediately.

"No hello? You know this is a tense moment for me," I said.

"Oh, my bad, my bad. It's just really late at night. The others are expecting great things," she replied. "I'm ready to see what's up your sleeve."

"All right," I said. "This is sure to go off well! Great little talk we had, but now I have to start.

As I left the voice call, on the same app, I started my livestream, and stood in front of a camera I had set up.

I cleared my throat, straightened myself, and spoke loudly.

"Attention, Japan. Allow me to apologize for interrupting the airwaves. You might call me a fan of music. I've been searching and searching, and I've finally found them. The three I have my eyes on.
Maybe there's more, but I just haven't met them yet. Listen up. Happy Around, Photon Maiden, and Peaky P-key, I challenge you. Find me at Yoba Academy, and let me test all your skills. DJ Kira, out."

I turned off the camera and laughed. I gave away my school, so I expect some commotion tomorrow from everyone.

The Next Day, at the Entrance to Yoba Academy...

Hah, just as I thought, there's a huge mob of news people at the front gates. I wasn't dumb enough to show my actual face, as the camera I used had special effects on it.
The media is already calling it the "second Max Headroom incident", a similar thing that happened many, many years ago.

I slipped past the crowd, and made my way to the front doors. The teachers were trying their best to push back the crowd. I hope the police don't get involved, but the police force of Japan is pretty strict.

Suddenly, a girl walked toward me, and stood in front of my path.
She had a serious expression on her face. Her hair was short and pink, and she was chewing gum. Large headphones were placed on her neck area.
"It's... you. Ren Shimizu. Listen up. I'm not sure why you did that, but we know your game. Peaky P-key will prove their worth."

How could I forget who this is?
"DJ Kunoichi, hello. I look forward to seeing what you four have up your sleeves."

She nodded and walked off.
DJ Kunoichi, AKA Shinobu Inuyose. Pretty much everyone here knows her. She's practically a legend at remixing. And of course, the band she's part of, Peaky P-key, shortened to Peaky, is considered one of the best in the whole school.

Being told that by Inuyose-san, it's a dream come true. Although I wanted to hear from Yamate-san too, as she definitely isn't as serious as the others. And in my opinion, cuter.

Right then, someone patted me on the shoulder.
"DJ Kira, you know you're in big trouble..."

I turned to my side to see my friend next to me.
"You scared me there, Maho-chan..."
