I met him in highschool.
He and i were groupmates for the first project of the school year.
He approached me first and introduced himself.
"Hi im Ace nice to meet you!"
We worked on our project just fine.
Turns out he is smart, well educated and succeeds in his acads.
He was my first friend. We would hangout in the cafeteria to study, talk and eat.
2 months have passed we already gained alot of friends.
Everything went well for first year of highschool.
Second Year Highschool. I liked someone.
Me and my crush grew close as friends. We would eat together with Ace, but Ace wasnt really fond of him.
Sadly he rejected me and said that i can still find someone better.
At the same time i was rejected Ace took an interest on a girl. Both of them were similar.
But on our Junior High Prom he saw the girl kissing another guy.
We both went to the pool and sat down on the side drinking our juice and comforted each other
"A school year of broken hearts bro! Cheers!"
I said and raised my glass of juice
"To prioritizing studies for the next school year! Cheers!"
He said and raised his own glass of juice
3rd Year Highschool
We did prioritize our studies. We were alone most of the time in the library just reading trying to move on.
We both had high grades and i could have never been proud of myself.
4th Year Highschool
Me and Ace just start hanging out every after school.
We both already met each others families.
"4 years of friendship huh! We went through alot."
He said and took a bite on his sandwich
"Yeah...that was a great 4 years!"
"What Course are you planning to take?"
"STEM. I want to be a doctor!"
I said that with high confidence. Ever since we would hangout and study together my confidence grew more and more and now im achieving alot.
"What about you? Whats your plans?"
"HUMMS. Ill be a lawyer."
The way he said that with his eyes glowing like its really a goal that he wants to reach.
"You fit well to be an Attorney"
"Thank you Future Doc"
We both Graduated Junior High School With Honors. He Smiles with Pride and Victory while Holding his Cetificate and Plaque. I couldnt help but to be proud of him. I saw his hardwork, i saw how he cried for his tests and quizzes and how he stays up late to study.
Well deserved Attorney. Well Deserved.
