Chapter Twelve- Damsels in distress

Looking over at Lee my heart ached and pumped "Mate, we need to get to the girls, NOW!" I said, feeling my cool going, anger and rage taking over me "WHO would do this!! WHY!?" I shouted and Lee shhed me "Be quiet!" He said and then I heard it, a laugh and I swung around pointing my flashlight into the woods "Hello?!" I shouted and Lee kicked me in the ankle "SH!" he said and I groaned "Ouch!" I said and then we crept behind a tree "There!" Lee whispered and I looked through the dark woods and clicked off my flashlight "Oh my god, that person followed us?" Said Lee and I breathed "Not followed us mate, were sitting ducks right now, we need to run!" I said and my heart pounded so fast, I legged it in the direction in front of me and grabbed out my phone, dialing 999 and when the operator answered an upbeat female voice said "999 What's your emergency?" and I couldn't breathe, my chest burning "Purford Green woods, the garages, help, there is a killer" I said but before I could say anything else, my phone beeped, and died. 

I turned around and see Lee running behind me "GO FORWARD!" he shouted as I began to turn and run left "STRAIGHT, FORWARD!" He shouted and we ran and ran for what felt like a lifetime, we halted to a stop when a black figure ran out in front of us "Don't move, or they die" The voice said and we stared at each other in utter  shock as the girl lifted down her hood and it was Lauren "Lauren?" Me and Lee said in unison and she grinned "Lucie, actually." She grinned a gut wrenching grin and me and Lee looked at each other confused, "Sorry, Who?" I asked and she laughed "The twin no one ever heard of, because no one ever cared enough to ask, Lauren this Lauren that. Pathetic, just like those girls of yours." Her venomous voice spat out and I wanted to punch her, Lee grabbed my arm "Don't, she aint worth it!" Lee said and I shook with anger "If your Lucie, where is Lauren?" I asked confused and angry.

"Lucie sat down on a log and smiled "Same place she has been all these years, underground and dead. I bided my time, planned on torturing those bitches for how loyal they were to the mega bitch" She said and my stomach went "Wait, your the killer?" I asked and she smiled "No, I don't get my hands dirty, but you know every single person involved." She said and I looked at Lee and Lee breathed "Enough crap- Lau-Luc- Whatever your name is, just tell us where the girls are and why you want to hurt them!" Lees voice quivered and my heart dropped "If your not the killer, then is that who is with the girls?" I asked and Lucie laughed "Also no." She sung and I was losing my patience "So this is a thing? there are people involved not just one person?" I asked and she grinned but before she could say anything blue lights flickered and sirens swang "Cya soon" Lucie said narrowed her bitchy eyes and kissed the air towards us, put her hood back up and ran.

The police met us halfway and we explained what had happened, including Lucie. The police called for back up and told us to wait here and they will move in on the garages. We leaned against the car, staring at each other in shock, Lee sweating "This has been a thing the whole time. I feel so sorry for the girls" Lees voice shook and I nodded. We heard shouting and a scream and both made into a run for the garages which were now illuminated by the police, when we got there, we see people being led out, Jade, Jess and oh my god. "CHLOE" Lee said loud and burst into tears "Oh my god!" Chloe's face was covered in scratches and blood and I ran over too Jade who was holding on to Jess and Chloe tight "Come here!" I said and grabbed hold of her, her familiar clean laundry smell filling my nose "I love you, Jade don't ever worry me like that again!" I said and behind us, Myles came running "WHAT HAPPENED?!" He shouted and scanned the mini crowd for Jess, when he found her he ran to her and grabbed her close "Oh my god" he said and pulled her close. We all stood there hugging and I briefly caught a glimpse of the inside of the garage "What the actual f-" I started and Lee and Myles see it also "Oh my god" They both said with the room filled with things of the girls, pictures, dolls, weird stuff.

The girls were white as ghosts "Are you ok?" I asked jade cupping her face and then looked at Lee who was kissing Chloe's forehead, Jade looked up at me and tears swelled in her eyes "We know who has been doing this" She said and me and Lee nodded as we now all huddled together "Lucie" I said out loud and the girls faces twisted into confusion "Laurens twin?" Lee added and the girls gasped "Wait, you didn't know?" Lee said and the girls nodded "We had a suspicion" Jade said slowly like the information wasn't hitting the right place in her mind for her too take in. "Wait a minute, if that's not Lucie, then who is that?" I said confused and now held on to Jade as I see the color drain from their faces again. The police each side of the person in the hood had hold of their arms and as they turned the person to face us and lead them out, me Lee and Myles all gasped too "Molly?!" Lee said sounding heartbroken "How could you?" He said and we all stared in disbelief.
