Rosie's pov
Erica started to kiss me, but all I could think about was Villa. Sure I liked Erica, but it was Villa I wanted to be with, not her.
I pulled away, and put a hand out to stop her from kissing me again.
"Erica, I can't, I'm sorry. I'm sorry you came all the way down here, but I think you should leave now. I'm sorry," I said, and she stood up slowly with a hurt expression on her face.
"Okay, if you're sure that's what you want," she said, looking down at me from where she was stood.
"I'm sure," I whispered, and she left, slamming the door shut behind her. Sighing, I ran my hands over my head and fell back onto the bed.
After a few seconds, I got up and stood by the door connecting mine and Villa's room, just like I had been before Erica came.
Cautiously, I knocked, and waited for a response. After only a second or two, Villa opened the door slowly, poking her head around it. She looked like she had been crying, but she smiled at me anyway. I noticed a stray tear on her cheek and reached out to wipe it.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, sorry," Villa said, wiping her eyes. "You... uh, you wanna come in?" She asked, glancing up at me nervously.
"Yeah," I said, following her into the hotel room.
"So what was that all about?" Villa asked, gesturing to my hotel room.
"That was Erica. She supposedly came to get my blood but... anyway I told her to leave," I said, and I saw Villa taking a deep breath.
"How come? She seemed nice when I saw her at the hospital that time," she said, but she kept avoiding eye contact with me.
"Um... wanna know the truth?" I said and Villa nodded slightly. "I just couldn't stop thinking about you, and what happened... nearly happened out in the hall," I said, and I watched as she slowly lifted her eyes to meet mine.
"Really?" She asked, her voice barely a whisper.
"Yeah, really," I said. We both looked at each other for a few seconds, then we closed the space between us. As we kissed, I couldn't help thinking: this is the moment I've been waiting for. I've always had feelings for Villa, but I've always been too scared to admit it.

*next morning*

When I woke up, Villa was stood on the balcony of her hotel room, looking out at the view. I climbed out of bed and walked up behind her, wrapping my arms around her waist.
"God Rosie, you scared me!" She said, jumping slightly and I laughed.
"Sorry," I said as she turned around to kiss me.
"Do you wanna go and get some breakfast before we head back?" She asked.
"Sure, let's get dressed and then we can go down," I said. I went back into my hotel room to get changed and when I came back in, Villa was wearing a white top and shorts, similar to what she was wearing yesterday.
We went down to the breakfast buffet, holding hands as we walked. The other two had left last night, so there was no need to try and pretend like nothing happened. When we were sat down with our food, the couple we were talking to yesterday - who think we're married - came over. They're still suspects, but we haven't gotten any further with the case, so we're going back to Miami later.
"Annalise, Rosie! You're still here!" He said, as they sat down at the table we were at. I exchanged glances with Villa, who looked as confused as I felt.
"Uh, yeah. Why wouldn't we be?" I asked.
"Well you did your presentation yesterday so I just assumed that you'd be leaving after that," he said.
"Well we decided to make a bit of a short vacation out of it. We're leaving later today though," I told them. Villa and I ate quickly, and then headed back to the hotel rooms.
