(timeskip to tommorow)
i woke up with the sun beaming through my curtains and the birds chirping outside my window "man do these birds ever fucking be quiet?" i thought. i rubbed my eyes and dragged my legs out of your bed. i was finally seeing george today!! i actually felt happy for once. i know it was early but i was pretty excited so i went out shopping to buy an outfit, i don't usually buy outfits for special occasions but this one meant alot to me.
george was my only friend when i was younger, i was always made fun and bullied but george always stood up for me no matter what and i could always depend on him. our bond fell apart when we were around 13 and we both went our separate ways as he met new friends and he didn't really speak to me much after that.
i walked over into my bathroom and had a quick shower and brushed my teeth. i told tommy about what happened with george and i had also told my mum as she always really liked george
i went upstairs and threw on a hoodie and some leggings and i went out to buy an outfit for tonight, i decided to buy a this black dress, it was kind of an average length dress and this is the first time in a while i've felt good in a dress. i got an uber back to my mums apartment and got changed into the dress
i put on some mascara and a bit of eyeliner but not really much else as i've never been the best at makeup to say the least. i got a dm from george saying he's going to send an uber over to my apartment so i send him my address and say my goodbyes to tommy and my mum
*DING*
george: the uber is outside :)
ruby: see you soon big man
george: see you soon m'lady
(mini timeskip)
i got out of my uber and i started to walk to the nandos. a rush of excitement came over me as i walked inside, suddenly i saw four people all waving at me and calling me over
george stood up and pulled me into a hug. it felt so nice. not in a weird way though but i've missed moments like these. a lot.
"i've missed you so much ruby its so good to finally see you again" he said with a smile growing on his face "i have missed you too george" you smiled back at him.
i sat down at the table and i was sat in between will and george, when the waiter came over and we all ordered our food and drinks, kind enough will offered to pay, i felt bad however i'm fucking skint so its not like i could afford much anyways. we all had a laugh and honestly it was so fun spending time with them, especially george.
"since its its still early what do you say we go to the pub lads?" will suggested "sounds good to me" i replied, all the others nodded and we all walked down the road to the nearest pub. "so ruby how have you been? we havent really caught up yet" he asked while walking along with his chestnut brown hair blowing in the wind "the usual, pretty shit" we all laughed and george put his hand around my shoulder. "they're getting along well" will told alex and james as he smirked "agreed" alex and james both laughed
when we reached the pub we saw it was a karaoke night. "ruby you good at singing?" james asked with a smile on his face "fuck no don't say you're going to make me do what i think"
as i fake cried "ITS KARAOKE TIME BOYS" alex shouted "WHAYYYY" will laughed
we all walked up to the stage and submitted the song you wanted to sing (a/n idk how it works🙄) "ruby you obviously know the song mr brightside yes?" alex asked "yes who doesn't that songs a fucking banger??" i rolled my eyes sarcastically "too right" alex responded
we all waited for the last person to finish and then it was our turn and we all put our arms around eachother as the song started to play

we all laughed historically while we all sang along terribly to the song which made it even better and even some of the people in the pub joined in with us surprisingly
once the song had finished we all ordered some drinks which this time james was paying for, im so happy no one asked me to pay. one drink turned into two, two turned into three, three turned into four (you get the point)
and honestly we were all fucking pissed to say the least but we was having a good time though, thats what counts
when the night ended i checked my phone i saw i had multiple missed calls from my mum and tommy and it was almost 3am. jesus time really does fly quickly when you're having phone "hey george can i stay at yours tonight?" i asked "yes of course" he smiled
you were all still slightly drunk however it had kind of worn off as we had all drunk quite alot of water.
a/n: helloo! this chapter is super bad but im going to try and make next chapter better, im sorry theres not much dialogue in this btw :))
