My school isn't a normal school. At Mountain Peak's Academy, you are split in to two groups. You are either the smart student who gets the best grades and everyone sees you as the person to go to when you need help with homework. Then, there's the 'weird' kids. The ones who hate socializing and do nothing besides go to clubs and talk about anime in the cafeteria. Sometimes I wish I was one of the 'weird' kids. I'll tell you why.
As one of the smart students, the teachers and my parents always expect me to have the highest and best grades. They want me to be the kindest and use my manners. And, worst of all, they want me to be in to guys and only guys. My parents have already chosen who I'm going to be marrying once I move out and I don't like the guy they chose. He's rude and toxic to other girls. I'm not even aloud to go to sleepovers with girls.
Teacher: Alright Misa, would you like to answer this question on the board?
Misa: Teacher, I answered that yesterday. Why do you always choose me to answer questions?
Teacher: Misa. Your one of the smart students. Now, go answer the question on the board.
Misa: Okay, ma'am...
I don't like being chosen all the time. Whenever we have to answer a question, the teacher always chooses me. I'm smart but I don't like it. I just wish somebody else would come up and answer a question for me so I don't have to.
Sakura: Miss. I'll answer the question. Misa needs a break.
Misa: S-Sakura? Are you sure?...
Sakura: Misa, I'll be okay, don't worry about me.
Teacher: ...
Misa: Ma'am, are you okay?
Teacher: MISA. ANSWER THE QUESTION NOW. SAKURA, SIT DOWN YOUR TO STUPID TO ANSWER THIS.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I began panicking as I walked up to the board. I grabbed the chalk and started writing as my arms began shaking. But... then... I felt something drag me from behind and pull me close. Then, I felt Sakura's soft arms pull me close towards her.
Sakura: You need a break. Here, I'm wearing strawberry Chapstick today. Your favourite fruit.
I felt Sakura slowly kissing me as she gently pressed her lips against mine. I couldn't believe what she was doing. But, I wasn't going to stop because of how good it feels.
Teacher: THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I'M CALLING YOUR PARENTS.
We were both shaking with fear. What were our parents going to think after the teacher tells them we were kissing in the classroom? But... before the teacher could make another move, we heard heels clacking towards the door and someone opened the door.
Principal: Pardon me, I'm sorry to interrupt what's happening but could you please quite down?
Teacher: These two brats were kissing in the classroom.
Principal: So? What's wrong with that? Misa and Sakura can kiss each other if they want to.
Sakura took a deep breath. For a second, she thought the principal was going to be angry and call our parents. Me and Sakura walked out the classroom as the principal kept on talking to the teacher. I took Sakura to the library and we both sat in chairs. Our friend Aoi talked to us.
Aoi: So you really kissed in the classroom? You're really brave! The two boy students who kissed each other a couple years back crawled to the window when the teachers were talking and jumped out a window.
Misa: That really happened?
Aoi: Don't worry. They survived.
Sakura: Hey. I think I saw a gay couple on Instagram and they said they jumped out of a window when they were 12. Are you talking about them?
Aoi: Oh yeah! I didn't know they had an Instagram account. Are they famous?
Sakura: They're really famous.
As we were talking in the library, we heard a voice call our names. We got up from our chairs and walked towards the principals office to see what was happening. Sakura saw her father and I saw my mother. My mother was smiling at me and told me to walk towards her. She said she had a surprise for me and was going to whisper it to me. I was excited and wanted to know what it was.
Misa's Mother: Misa, I've been thinking for a while and I decided that I'm going to let you have a sleepover with any girl you would want. You can even invite Sakura if you want.
I was so excited for this sleepover! I really want to invite Sakura. I walked up to Sakura and asked her a question.
Misa: Hey Sakura, would you like to come to a sleepover with me?
Sakura: I'd love to Misa!
And that, was the start of the best sleepover of my life.
