Asia POV
I was now 19 and I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl named promise. I got my own apartment and I've been doing hair out of my house until I get enough money to rent out a salon. Trey got caught with drugs I didn't know about and he got 5 years which is sad because he going to miss so much in promises life. My brother has been helping out with things I need like clothes and shoes for my baby. I've been thinking about getting a second job so I can have more money on the side. Me doing hair is bring me good money but I just want to get extra so I can be able to get all the toys that promise is going to want when she older. She 2 months old and she's the cutes little thing. She looks just like me to.
I doin got a call from trey and I was excited even though he never called for me he called for promise but at least he's trying to be her dad you know.
"Hello" I said
"Hey A how are y'all"
"We good trey she just went to sleep how you holding up in there"
"I'm Ight I talked to my lawyer and he said I might get a shorter time in here"
" that's good yea"
"Oh I have someone bringing money to you for y'all"
"You don't have to do that we are fine trey"
"Yea but you been putting hella money on my books so I want y'all to be straight out there, but I got to go Ight love y'all"

1 week later
I hAd been talking to trey everyday and he's got a shorter time like 4 years it's one year off but it's still not 5 years, he wants me to start dating I don't know why I guess he wants me to have company but I don't know about dating.
Promise and I were in the car going to the store to get somethings for the house when this car pulled up next to us at a red light and the window rolled down and it was this light skin guy with nice white teeth beautiful eyes and nice waves. He was nice looking I'm not ganna lie but I still am not ok with the whole dating thing yet. The light turned green so we started driving again, I soon pulled up to Walmart and got promise and put her in a cart with he blanket and went inside.
I was getting promise some more clothes and then I went to get some groceries and as I was walking I was stopped by someone. I turned around and it was the guy I saw at the red light, I just said hi and turned back around.
"Hey beautiful" the guy said
"Um hi" I said and I started turning red a little bit
"What's your name"he said wiping my hair out of my face
"Asia" I said turning around to check on promise
"Oh that's your baby" he said looking confused
"Yea....this is promise"
"Oh you got a dude" he said stepping back
"No he's in jail and we split up"
"Oh I'm sorry bout that my name seven but I got by sev"
"Oh okay" i said putting promise down
"Here lemme get your number"he said giving me his phone
"Ok"
"Well I'll let you finish shopping ima text you"he said now walking off
I was still blushing all the way to my car, I put promise in first and then the groceries and as I got in the car my phone started ringing, at first I thought it was trey cuz he hasn't called today but then it was a random number so I let it ring. Then the number called again, I was hesitant to answer but something told me to answer so I did.
"Hello" I said lowkey nervous
" Asia, it's me sev" he said laughing
" oh hey" I said
" you made it home with your baby yet"
"No I just pulled out of the store"I said driving away
"Oh damn, well I wanted to make sure you got my number"he said
"Oh okay well text me later" I said about to hang up
"Nah call me when y'all make it home safe" he said hanging up

Later that night
I was laying in bed and I just got done talking to sev when there was a knock on my door. I got up and went to check on promise and she was sleeping so I went there go check the door. First I looked threw the peep whole and it was sev, he said he was coming over so him being here wasn't a surprise.
I opened the door to let him in and we went to watch my movies until me left, after that I went to bed.
