Chapter 4: Mystery At The Park

{Lisa's POV}
Avery and I skated to the park and it took us about 5 minutes to get there. She sat down and told me that I could go play and she will meet me in a bit. So I nod, take of my skates, put on my shoes, and run towards the monkey bars. On my way there I trip and fall. Then I realize I didn't tie my shoes. I tie them and look back to see if Avery noticed, but she didn't. She is looking at something on her phone. Oh well. I get up and continue running towards the monkey bars. I haven't done this since I was 6 and I'm 8 now. So I don't know how this is going to end up.
So I climb up the steps and put both hands on the first bar. My hands are really sweaty so I wipe them on my blue jeans. Then I put my hands on the first bar. I move my other hand to the next bar and little by little I'm moving across the bars.
"I'm doing it, I'm really doing it!!!!" I scream. But Avery still doesn't notice me, she is with someone. Is that....Kiki? Yay! Kiki's here. I love her so much. I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize I had fell. That was so fun! I say in my head. After I fall, I get up and brush myself off. Then the cutest bunny ever hopes across my foot. I wonder if momma will let me keep this bunny. Yes! I think she will. Then I start to follow the bunny as it skips across the park. Then the bunny goes into a forest nearby, but I decide to follow it anyway. I assume that the bunny is a boy so I call him Fluffy. Fluffy skips deep into the forest and I follow him. Then I realize, I don't know where I am.
"LISA!!!!" I hear someone call my name. Oh man! I think I'm in trouble, so I leave the bunny alone ;( and run deeper into the forest.
BOOM!!! I hear thunder and rain starts to pour all around me. OMG! I'm all alone in the forest and it's raining and thundering like crazy! I'm really scared.

{Avery's POV}
"LISA!!!!" I scream. No answer. Next thing I know rain starts pouring down.
BOOM!!! The thunder rumbles.
"We have to get inside!" Kiki screams.
"I can't leave without Lisa!! Her mom will be so mad at me!" I scream back.
"HELP!!" I hear someone scream.
"I think that's Lisa!" I say as I turn to Kiki.
"Ya! Let's follow her voice, come on YA slow poke!" Kiki says. I smile at Kiki and run after her.
We end up going deep into a forest
"HELP!!" Screams Lisa.
"WE'RE COMING!!" I scream back.
Then we ran into Lisa and we all hugged in the rain.
"Don't you ever run off like that again" I whispered.
"Something could have happened to you" Kiki says.
"I'm sorry, I love you guys. I won't ever do that again. I promise." Says Lisa.
"It's okay, let's go home..." I pause.
"Lets go back to the shelter." I say. We all pull away from the hug and find our way back to the park. At this point we are soaking wet but we don't mind.
"Hay Kiki you want to sleepover tonight?" I say.
"Sure. Let me grab some clothes and I'll head to your place" Kiki says.
"Kk see YA in a bit!" I say and Kiki goes home. Lisa and I grab our skates and decide to walk home since it's raining. The whole walk home is silent.
