Qon was a man of ideals. He epitomized practicality despite his frivolous personality. Yes, he might have left comical jokes here and there, tease his friends with remarks they find annoying, and being an overall dorky jerk from time to time, but he was pragmatic and unexpectedly level-headed. He knows what he wants, he absolutely knows what he needs, and he has an unwavering commitment to achieve it. That was probably the reason why he became an idealistic and responsible person, all because of a dream; an illusion.
But most things go downhill, right? We can't always have what we want. Qon can't always be on the lucky side of the road. He was a predator, an unlucky one. No, he didn't fell to the hands of a pitiful prey he was meaning to catch, a damsel in distress he desired among species. This wasn't a fable. Another predator, a fellow devourer, caught him, and crushed his dreams unknowingly. A beautiful swirl of chaos ensues.
But the silliest thing about this was- he allowed the beast to break him, to destroy him and split him into fragments he can't apprehend.
