Sometimes, out here in the west, its hard to keep strong, I'm all alone, except for my mum, and paw, But paw is sick. Lets just take us back a few years, you know, before I get all sappy!
(Four years back)
"Janie, you're gonna have to let go of the horses neck honey" Paw said, brushing my straw blond hair out of my scared face. "But Paw, what if Applejack jumps!" I asked scared. He chuckled a mighty old farmers chuckle, Applejack aint gonna do nuthin to no one, she is the tamest of all the horses in this here barn!" he said, wiping his sweaty brow!
I let go of Applejacks neck, She trotted around, the ran, I fell, and almost started crying when paw said "Honey, cowgirls don't cry" I nodded and brushed off my pants! I got back on and fell a few more times, I shook it away! I can be strong! I thought to myself. Strong! I rode Applejack for a while, and then Paw came out on Spirit, the giant black stallion! He was beautiful! His black coat shining bright in the sun! I loved Spirit.
Now we rode side by side, Paw laughed at me when I started sliding down Applejacks side! But it was her fault! All I know, is that Cowgirls, don't cry!
