Maybe it happened because his heart couldn't handle it no more, or maybe as a defense mechanism but for whichever reason his mind drifted unconsciously into flashbacks, a self-driven train down memory lane. The "good times", being an understatement, for times when he was together with his beloved 'Jiminssi'. He remembered Jimin's face so perfect, so bright with his iconic smile, his perfect pearly whites, his sparkling eyes becoming thin to the point that he couldn't almost see. His skin was soft, warm and had a pretty pink shade. Jungkook remembered how he loved to stroke and playfully pull his cheeks. His hands were always interlocked with Jimin's tiny pink fingers. When Jimin who was tiny would hide his face in Jungkook's shoulders, in either embarrassment or despair, he would run his fingers in his beautiful hair. Jimin was the most perfect human being, at least to Jungkook, and these moments were everything to him. His mind wandered to the times when they sang together in front of a million people, but they could only see each other. When they would try to be as close as possible to each other, finding some reason, or absent-mindedly holding the other close, just out of habit. He could listen to his heavenly voice, endlessly. He was Jimin's biggest fan, among most of the population around the world. Jungkook knew Jimin inside out and so did the latter, him.

Every time Jungkook broke down, when he thought his voice broke or his performance was not good enough, when he made a mistake in front of millions of fans, him being a perfectionist, it would make him worry and cry, as had happened many times. Jimin was there for him, always. He would hug him, wipe the little one's tears, make silly jokes to make him laugh and make sure he held on to him until Jungkook would feel better. Jungkook loved to have his attention on himself. A single embrace from Jimin was healing for him and he wanted to never let go. In fact, Jungkook wanted to share his every moment with him, his every breath. He too would take care of Jimin the same way in his every time of need. He would do anything for Jimin. He felt as if nothing was impossible when it came to him. There was nothing, no other happiness as having Jimin in his arms. He knew, and he hoped Jimin did too, what this feeling was. They were in love. It was a love so pure that it made everything in the world insignificant, just with the exception of their lover who was their whole world.

As he was reminiscing, a faint smile drew painfully across Jungkook's face which was instantly erased again. "I let him down", he thought as he felt a pit in his stomach form. It dawned on him, all of a sudden. He could not leave things like this! Not with Jimin. It gave him excruciating pain even thinking about it. His hyung was understanding, was he not? Whatever it was he felt that he could fix it. Their love was at least that strong, and Jimin is definitely far more worth the try, Jungkook reminded himself.
