Still With You - A rainy day story

All I ever want

He was crying and out in the rain alone!!??  

If Jimin was worried about Jungkook before the call he was a hundred times more worried now. "What the hell were the staff members doing!! How did they let him just wander out to the road alone, in this rain too??" he was getting restless blaming everyone he could think of. 

He couldn't bear the thought of him making his baby maknae cry. He wanted run to where Jungkook was, give him a big hug and tell him everything is going to be alright, that he was sorry for what he said, that he loved him and that he never could nor was going to leave him.

"It's okay, he is coming home now", Jimin reassured himself to stop worrying. 

He hurriedly scoured for an umbrella and dragged it outside to wait for his Kookie in their front yard.

Not too long after Jimin had been standing under a big black umbrella, on their paved driveway, he saw a yellow taxicab pull up into the curb. He watched as a tall hooded Jungkook got out, looking exhausted and miserable. His eyes and nose had reddened like a rose-apple and cheeks puffed up from crying, making him look more like a bunny. As soon as he got out and saw Jimin he broke into a cry. 

Jimin couldn't hold back tears himself. After all, nobody, nothing compared to his love for Jungkook. He watched as Jungkook ran to where he was standing, his feet getting wet splashing in the puddles formed by the rain. More than anything he was so relieved that he was back home safe. He spread his arms letting him run straight into them and wrapped them tightly around him as if he were slam-dunking a basketball. 

"Jungkookaahh," his voice broke.

"I'm sorry hyungieee", Jungkook let it all out resting his head in the crook of Jimin's neck. 

He smells like a lavender in the early spring. 

Jungkook hugged him even tighter if it was possible. He never wanted this moment to end. He never wanted to let Jimin go. Never again was he going to risk losing the most important person in his life. 

"It's okay Jungkookie," his voice was euphonious to his ears and the words blissful.

"I will never leave you alone like that my baby Kookie, hyung will always be with you" he heard him say as he felt Jimin's tiny fingers stroking his hair. 

My everything is right here. This is all I ever want. To be still with you.
