Chapter 3: All together again

I ran as fast as I could towards the voice crying out for help, "wait !! We need to stay together !!!" Kidoh called out but I kept running and I didn't look back, when I got there I saw Jungkook on the ground and one of those inhuman things, it was in the form Of a female, hair pulled back into a ponytail wearing a blue distressed shirt stained with blood and a knee length beige skirt, bleeding from the eyes like the police man, limping towards him quickly with a sharp looking object in its hand, laughing.
"Hey !!" I picked up a rock and threw it at the thing. It noticed me, smiled and limped towards me quickly. In a panic I didn't know what to do next.
Jungkook got to his feet and ran away as fast as he could, what a fucking coward I thought as I slowly backed up, looking behind me I could see nothing but darkness. The thing started swinging the sharp object nearly hitting me but I dodge every attempt it made to injure me, I didn't know what to do. Was I going to die risking my life for someone I didn't even give two shits about? Why did I have to save him? He didn't have any problem abandoning me. Something clicked on in my head, I was not going to die here, I had to fight.

I grabbed some dirt and threw it at its face and pushed it over as hard as I could, thankfully it got distracted and tried to rub the dirt out of its eyes, struggling to stand up and I ran straight ahead looking back to see if it was chasing me. Bam ! I went flying back, I hit the ground hard. Thank god I ran into Kidoh and not one of those things. "I told you not to run off !!" I stood up as quickly as I could "not now !!! One of those things is back there and if you wanna stick around and make friends with it then that's fine with me but I'm leaving" immediately Kidoh got up and we both ran. Once we were certain nothing was chasing us anymore he asked me "why'd you run off? It's dangerous out here you shouldn't be alone" I raised my hand in annoyance thinking about how I helped jungkook and how he left me fore dead. Once I see that fucker again he's gonna wish I let that thing kill him instead of me. "I heard someone screaming for help so I went to go see, it was jungkook, I helped him but once the thing came after me he bolted out of there and left me" I said in an irritated tone. He took my hand and lead me into what looked like a small shop which was connected to a house, right as you walk in the door, straight ahead there's a counter with a cash register on it. To the left was a hallway leading to the kitchen and a stair case leading upstairs, To the right side there where a few shelves with cans and jars on them. The jars were filled with..... Human Remains Ears, fingers, toes, teeth you name it, it was there, It wasn't pretty.

Before we could discuss anything further the sound of the door opening spooked us and we hid behind the shelves and stayed as quiet as we could. The door closed and the sound foot steps grew louder, I could tell there were two of them from the sound, the closer they came to the shelves the more I panicked. My hand found a board so I picked it up, as the closer they got I waited for the right moment and swung. "Wait don't !!!" Kidoh grabbed my arm and I saw jungkook and Jhope holding their arms up to protect them.

I clenched my jaw in anger and took jungkook by the collar of his sweater and pushed him up against the wall.
"You fucking asshole !!!" I screamed in his face. "Izzy stop" "come on we don't have time for this" Jhope and Kidoh said while trying to get me off him. Jungkook swallowed and didn't say anything he just looked at me. "Why the fuck did you leave me ??? When I risked my life to save your pathetic ass, you fucking coward !!! I should've left you to die" I said with so much venom in my words, jungkook winced obviously hurt by them.

I let go of his sweater and I walked a few feet away crouched down, not wanting to be around him. "I came back for you, I did" he said in a low voice. "Bull shit" I said over my shoulder. "Can we deal with this later? I think I see something coming" Jhope said while looking out the window. We all went into the kitchen and lucky for us there was a back door.

We slipped out as quietly as possible waiting for whatever was inside to leave. Once all was quiet we silently went back inside and squatted down in a small circle. "I'm sorry I left you, I got scared, I didn't know what to do except run" jungkook said in a sincere tone. Could I trust him? What if the same thing happens and I won't get so lucky like last time? "It's fine" I said after a long pause of silence. "But you leave me again and I'll kill you, I really will" I said in a serious tone. "Anyways, Jhope jungkook, do you know where yano and those two other girls are" kidoh said. They both shook their heads. "We both woke up in an abandoned house together, not knowing what was happening we went out in search for you guys, got split up because this idiot ran off on his own" Jhope said and slapped jungkook on the back of the head.
Jungkook rubbed the back of his head looking at Jhope in annoyance. "And I ran into one of those things and my knight in shining armour saved me" he said In a sarcastic tone towards me, I glared at him. "Anyway...." Jhope said loudly before I could make a witty comeback. "He came back saying you saved him so I asked him where you were and he told me he left you with that thing... So I got angry with him and told him to quickly show me, incase you got hurt" he said in a concerned voice.
I smiled at the thought of Jhope scolding jungkook for leaving me. They both asked us what had happened to us and we explained everything, waking up alone, being attacked by those men in the cloaks, being chased and shot at by an inhuman police man. When we finished they were surprised we were even still alive. Fuck, I was surprised I was still alive.
