Michigan. Cold. Both the same things right? Yes. I live in Michigan and even though it's very pretty I'll never get used to how cold it gets in the winter. My mom and I are pretty close. Fourteen years ago my mom met my dad. At a bar. You see where this is going right? Anyways after my mom had me, my dad left her. For fourteen years my mom took care of me all by herself. I'm very impressed since I was a very wild child. You think I'd never want to see my dad because he left me, right? Actually I want to meet him. My whole life I've never had a dad, which was pretty weird. When I was younger I'd always ask my mom, "Where's my dad?" but she'd always respond with, "He's working" or "He's on vacation". It was when I was twelve that she finally told me the truth, even though I kind of figured she didn't know where he was when I was nine. When she told me I was thankful but I was also a little upset. I guess I'll have to live the rest of my life without meeting my father.
Hi everyone! Thank you for reading this. As you might've known already, I am rewriting Can't Talk? It'll be a little different than it was the first time. They aren't in Magcon, they're just doing what they're doing now. Not everyone from the first attempt of this book will be in it now. Also I changed the names of the characters.
