Hadrian Black

Chapter 9

Hadrian was waiting for the fourth champion to enter. He was sure of who it was and had told the other competitors. They were surprised but hid it well. They knew Charlus Potter was a straight-up stuck up brat. Charlus entered the room with a proud and disgusting smirk on his face. He walked up to Fleur and said, "I am pretty sure you must be honoured to meet me." Fleur gave him a small smile but when he turned to Victor, she almost gagged. Hadrian put an arm around her and helped her stay still. Victor put a fake smile and heard the rants of the annoying-prat-who-managed-to-survive until Dumbledore burst in with Madam Maxime, Professor Karkaroff, Ludo Bagman, Barty Crouch Sr. and James Potter-Black.

As soon as James entered, Charlus ran to his ex-dad and complained about Hadrian, instead, he was pushed aside and James went to check on Hadrian who stood there calm but he had a very threatening demeanour around him because when someone touched what was supposed to his or his family, he lost it. Dumbledore then pulled Charlus towards him and said, "Since Charlus' name has come out of the goblet, he must take part." Madam Maxime found this extremely unfair said, "But, zis iz unfair Hogwarts haz two champions." Dumbledore said, "But he has to take part or else-" He was cut off by Hadrian who said, "Then we must elect two more students from both the schools. To make fair of course because once the magic is bound to the Goblet, not fulfilling the wills of the goblet can lead to bound off the magic and death." 

Karkaroff agreed to this, he would never deny his master's orders. Tho not being in the inner circle, he could sense the same aura that he did in the meeting and it radiated of Hadrian. Madam Maxime tho thought for a second and agreed. Everyone present there turned to Dumbledore, who was so busy fuming to not notice everyone was looking at him. Karkaroff asked, "Professor?" That's why he realized that the whole room was looking at him and he gave a small nod before dragging Charlus out of the room. 

Then, it was decided there will selection of two champions from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, one each. Hadrian left the room and headed back to his common room. He was greeted which cheers and applauds. Daphne came up to him and kissed him. He, of course, kissed her back, when he saw his Head of the House giving a small smile with a nod and a proud look. He was glad. After partying for about a few hours, Hadrian dragged Daphne to his room. Daphne had earlier told him that she had a surprise for him. Daphne put a blindfold on his eyes and told him to wait for a few minutes. Hadrian could hear the shuffling of clothes until he was finally told to remove his blindfold and the scene he saw was enough for him to handle any longer.
