Rin's POV:
I tapped my foot impatiently, sitting on a bench waiting to get my dorm key.It turns out I arrived too early, how dumb could I be?
Too dumb as it was 5:50 am.
I was the only one waiting in the reception, at least I had the key to the building, as my dad does own the college, main reason I'm here and attending to Watershire Edge.
I plugged in my earphones and listened to music as I waited.
3 hours to go, nice. At least it would distract me, I mean, it did distract me for 2 hours, that much I didn't see a person hovering over me.
Third Person POV
"Uh hey, is there something you want?" She asked looking up at him.
"Hey, sorry for interrupting whatever you were doing, I'm kinda lost? Do you know where the reception is?" The boy answered.
She laughed, "Your in it."
"Oh okay." He laughed, feeling stupid. He took a seat beside her.
Rin's POV:
I switch my music off, and go to text my closest friends, they may be online, but I care about them, a lot.
Max, my best friend was the only one online, that was okay though, I knew the others were going to get their keys too.
I wish we could have gone to the same college, but its okay I guess.
At least I get to talk to them.
I talked to Max a bit, completely forgetting about the guy sitting next to me, but he was distracted too, tapping away on his phone like Sonic or something.
Then half an hour later 2 other boys entered. They took a seat next to us, and took out their phones too, I didn't realise till that moment that parents were right, we are obsessed with our phones.
I go back to texting Max, and realise the other two are online too.
We talk for a bit about the colleges were going to, it was a bit weird to me that we were all just waiting for our keys in the reception, and there was 3 other guys with me, but I shrugged it off. I overthink too much.
Third Person POV
Rin decided it was getting quite awkward, they hadn't spoken a word since they all arrived.
"Hey um, I'm Rin, you guys?"
"I'm Max." The boy next to her smiled.
"Mizu."
"Rider."
"Oh nice-", she laughed awkwardly.
She thought it could just be a coincidence, but it was so odd.
Her group of online friends had the same names..
She waved the thought away though. It couldn't be possible, could it?
The others thought the same thing, but of course the characters have to be dumb at the start. Too dumb apparently. Then she saw her.
"Anne!!" She ran up hugging her best friend.
"Hey Rinnnnnn." Anne replied, trying to tug Rin away from her as she was being ambushed with hugs.
"About time you came." Rin shook her head.
Anne laughed. "Sorry, my sister."
"As always." Rin rolled her eyes.
It was a classic Anne excuse, it was always her sister's fault.
