We were on our way to my sisters moms house it was along way but as long as I was with Connor and my sister that was all that mattered. we finally arrived at her moms house I talked to her mom for a few mins. She asked me where I was going I told her the truth. i told her everything about what me and her daughters dad did to us. she cried for us and took a look at my scares I told her that her daughter does not have as much as me I protected her that is the only reason why I stayed which was for her. Whatever you do promise to protect her no matter what ashley asked. I promise. My step mom replied while whipping the tears of her face. then I said goodbye to my step- sister again but hopefully not as long as it was when we where back at home or not really home to both of us this was home to my sister now but it was not mine I still had to find someplace I could call "home".
