Her name was Florence. She loved rainy dais and coffee. There was never really enthusiastic in her life, she always had a normal life. Never suffered with anything too big, like bullying or sexual abuse. But never had too much luck either, she was simply normal.
Never won a raffle, even tough she signed up for all of them. Once she got very sad because she signed to one in hopes of winning a new laptop, as her parents refused to buy her one, but she lost and got very upset.
But there were bigger things saved up for her, even thought she didn't knew that at the time. She was about to win an even bigger raffle.
Things don't always happen as we expect them to. When her name was announced in every mean of communication she certainly didn't expect things to happen as they did.
But enough rambling, and let's go back in time a bit. To the day when our Florence's life will be turned upside down.
"I just said I think I'd have great chances of surviving a zombie apocalypse" and that was Matthew. 1,70 e 50 pounds. Almost blind with his giant glasses, and always had his eyes glued to a comic book of super heroes. He always had some useless information to share, like "people who eat shrimp from Thailand are helping slavery."
"Did you know there was a sheep who though it was a wolf and run with them in the snow?" "The Titanic sinked because someone forgot the keys inside the closet." Puberty didn't really helped to make his voice deeper, but even with that, or because of that, he was Florence's best friend, and she loved him.
"Why do you even care? Zombies are bullshit, and a zombie apocalypse is not happening." Florence's best girl friend, Annalise. Seventeen, and the measures every girl would literally die to have. She had the face and the body of a model but was extremely intelligent, even tough she acted like a bitch most of the time.
"How do you know it's not happening? The only thing you are sure of is when the next Ralph Loren collection is coming out."
"And Chanel's" She added with a smirk.
"No, Matt, you wouldn't survive the zombie apocalypse. You'd probably trip on a rock while you were running, or in your own feet."
Florence had the beauty of a rose. That was the only word that could define her beauty. She had delicate features, dark brown eyes and always a smile on her face, like she had a secret that made life better and she didn't tell anyone.
"TURN ON THE TV! THEY'RE ABOUT TO ANNOUNCE THE WINNER!" Annalise said excited, preventing Matt from answering and jumping to turn on the tv. "IMAGINE IF ONE OF US WON FLOR?"
"I think if one of us won, it was you. I have no luck, remember?"
"Don't make me slap you now. Shut up and be positive!"
Florence seated by her side, while Matthew mumbled something about Pater Mallark being a jerk and how the girls shouldn't waste their time with that, but all he got was a not very nice "shut up" form Annalise. The girl had a sharp tongue when it came to swearing.
"I know you're all really anxious to know who's the lucky girl who will spend three months with the rockstar Peter Mallark, and feature one of his videoclips, but before that I will invite Peter Mallark into the stage! Come in Peter!
Peter Mallark got into the stage, using his famous leather jacket and causing screams. He waved to the fans and took a seat
"Are you as anxious as your fans to find out, Peter?
"If I'm anxious to find out who's the girl I'll be spending the next three months with? Well, would you be?
David laughed
"Well, I think that's a yes. Which means that's the end of the mystery. And the winner is..." the drums played in the back, and then came a pause, a close in Peter's face, and then the camera went back to David. "FLORENCE DIAZ STARK, FROM NEW YORK CITY!"
Florence didn't realize what had just happened, until the picture she sent when she signed for the raffle showed up on the tv screen. It was a terrible picture, that she only sent because she was sure she wouldn't win. A knot took place in her throat, Matthew's glasses feel. Annalise wouldn't stop screaming.
"YOU WON! YOU'RE A BITCH! Promise me that you'll introduce me to him and that you'll have sex with him"
Florence was frozen, and Peter was the one speaking now. He was laughing at the picture chosen by Florence, and then he said.
"Well, Florence, I'm waiting for you."

The second worst thing that can happen to a psychopath is boredom. Psychopaths can be extremely patient, they have to, they are predators, they need patience to execute their crimes. And the psychopath of this story have been patient for three years, which means he was already bored.
He needed an inspiration. During these years he read about the big serial killers, and it was when he realized he needed to upgrade his acts. He wanted to be like Zodiac, unforgettable. A midterm so big that was questioned until today. He wanted to be remembered. But how?
"Well, Florence, I'm waiting for you."
He smiled. He already had an inspiration. He grabbed his phone and reserved a plane ticket to California. He had business to do.
