So I guess we should start from the begging. I am Spencer Nellie Jenkins, you can call me Nell. I was sent to America to live with my Aunt on my mum’s side, after both my parents died in a fire. Mum was stuck in the building; dad was the fireman trying to free her, and everyone else.
I always had a suspicion That Aunt Ell hated me, with a fiery passion, wow, that pun just makes me sad. Anyway I was at Aunt Ell’s for just short of a month, I was trying to find a job. Aunt Ell lives in LA, I mean seriously. I had been trying to get along with her, putting on a fake smile, I actually like her Husband, Uncle Richey. However it didn’t last, and now I’m on a Plane to see my only Uncle left on my father’s side, I have never even met him, my dad sort of became… disconnected after his youngest brother died, Dad was the eldest, I think he blamed himself.
I really hope Uncle Greg and his family like me; I mean they’d have to, to take me in, right? Then again Aunt Ell said she’d take me in. Stupid. I am 17 tomorrow, it’s a year until I am 18, I can live by myself. So now I am on a to Texas. Uncle Greg lives somewhere around Eagle Lake. So I am flying to Houston and he will pick me up from there. I think he is under the impression that I am a city girl, guess he is in for a shock.
