These chapters are going to be based off of one person's POV per chapter, sometimes even 2-3 maybe since it'll be easier
SERENITY
So...he's back...
Faith looked at me and said "Yep, he's back." I looked back at Seonghwa. What was his intention for him coming back? He just sat in the back with his new friends, how did he make friends so fast? He was here for half of freshman year, then left, and now comes back the first day of senior year. The teacher walked in and said "As you all can see, Park Seonghwa is back. Let's all treat him with kindness and respect as he would do the same for you. I see you've already made friends, Mr. Park." Seonghwa nodded his head. The teacher responded "Go ahead and take your seat. We won't be doing much today, students. But by next week, our lessons will start."
Faith groaned and I joined in with her. "Dumb lessons..." "Tell me about it, girl...they always say senior year is the hardest..." I lifted my head up and sighed. "This year's gonna suck now that he's back." Faith rubbed my back and said "I'm here with you. Just don't pay attention to that kid." I looked back at Seonghwa, I had to admit, he's gotten hotter since the last time I saw him. Yeah, he was hot when we last saw each other, but, this man had an undercut now, smooth black hair, he had gotten taller and more muscular, his jawline got even sharper. If I touch his jawline, I think my hand might come off.
SEONGHWA'S POV
I looked at Serenity, she definitely got more beautiful over the past few years. I doubt she remembers me...I just gotta play it cool while I'm back here, it's hard not being able to talk to her. It's not that I refuse to, I just can't, I'm not allowed. She was the first girl I ever fell in love with, and I hurt her...I had to hurt her, I didn't want to but they forced me to.
SERENITY'S POV
I walked out of class, finally, the school day was over. First days are always so hard. As I walked to my locker, I opened it, and then it got slammed shut. I opened it again and it got slammed again. I heard a voice behind me say "When it closes the first time, it stays closed." I turned around and saw Seonghwa standing right behind me. "Don't say anything, just let me explain." "What are you going to explain? You were the one that left!" He put his hand near me, pressing it against the locker, which caused me to back a little, but there was not much room left for me as my back hit the cold lockers. He looked down at me as he was much taller, and I looked down keeping eye contact with the floor. He put his hand under my chin and slowly lifted my head up to face him. "Let me explain to you what happened..." I blushed a slight tint of red and I accidentally made eye contact with him. He started talking...
"I didn't want to leave. I had to, I had no other option." I responded back "You could have stayed at my house, my parents wouldn't have cared." He shook his head and said "I didn't want to be a bother. Besides, they wanted me to stay with them, I can't argue with my parents and you know that." I scoffed and folded my arms "You were old enough to make your own decisions." "According to my parents, I'm not. Even my brother wanted me to go with him. I couldn't deny when they wouldn't allow me to. I had no other options, Serenity. I'm sorry I left you, but I'm back now, and I won't leave you again. I promise..." I shook my head and tried to push him away. He was a little too heavy for me to push away. He chuckled "You can't get rid of me that easily. You don't have enough muscle to push me away, pup." I blushed at the old nickname, he called me that all the time. "Don't say that old nickname..." He smirked "Aw, but why not? It was my special nickname for you, and it still is." I shook my head no and said "Thats an old nickname..." He leaned in closer, and I tried to back up but there was nowhere else to go. He caressed my cheek and played with my hair "You've grown, a lot..." I nodded my head and said "I-I really need to get home, it's dismissal time..." He chuckled "Aawww, and you're still a little goodie two shoes, just like in freshman year. Your personality and habits have hardly changed." I put my hands on his chest and tried to push him away again. "Seonghwa, go away. I need to go home." "Alright, fine, but before I do..."
He leaned in and slowly kissed me. To which I returned. Come on, who wouldn't kiss him?
He pulled away smirking and licking his lips. "You can go now." I responded "Now you make me not want to go." He laughed a little "Go on home now, pup." He put a note in my jeans pocket that I didn't discover until I arrived home.
When I arrived home, I read the note, which said
"I'm sorry I didnt give you a proper goodbye when I left. You know the kind of family I have, and you know how strict they can be since you come from the same background. I hope I can make things better for you this year though and you can forgive me. And just a warning, please, be careful...you know how our families are, they can't find out about this..."
Me and Seonghwa can't be together, but we disobey that rule.
