Chapter 4

August 29th The Kent House 16:45
Lois got up from her seat after the door bell rang and made her way to the door and opened it to find Dick standing there

"Dick, what can I do for you" Lois asked

"Actually I'm only here as keeper of the peace, someone has come to apologise" Dick said revealing Damian

"Damian, how nice it is to see you again" Lois said with a changed tone

"He's just here to apologise and Bruce has given me full authority to tie him up and hang from a lamp post if needs be" Dick laughed

"Well you'll be lucky if he can, Jon's locked his door and isn't coming out at all" Lois said

"I'll get in" Damian said pushing through

"Does he not understand" Lois asked

"He's still learning about social cues and what not, but no I don't think he fully understands" Dick said chasing after him

When Dick caught up to him Clark and Lara had stopped him at the bottom of the stairs

"Hey Lara, hi Clark" Dick said

"Richard, is he here with you" Clark asked

"Yeah we thought it be best I came when he apologised because I can keep my cool unlike certain members of our family" Dick said

"Okay as long as your in there I'm fine with it" Clark said

"We will be in and out" Dick said

Damian and Dick went up the stairs and arrived at Jon's door and dick knocked

"Hey Jon would you mind opening the door" Dick asked

"Dick, is that you and no go away" Jon said

"Kent you better open this bloody door or I'm kicking it in" Damian said

"Hey Lil D cool it with the violence" Dick said

"No both of you just leave" Jon shouted

"We can't do that unless you open the door" Dick said

"Fine but only for a minute" Jon said

They heard the door unlock and open and they both entered the room as Jon crawled back into his bed

"I'm only here to keep the peace" Dick said

"I can't apologise with you in the room" Damian said

"Damian that's against your fathers terms and conditions" Dick said

"I won't hurt him and I don't care if her hurts me I'll be fine and I've been through worse" Damian said

Dick left the room not wanting to and Damian locked the door behind him and then sat on the end of Jon's bed in silence for two minutes exactly

"Kent, I'm sorry" Damian said

"Sure you are" Jon said

"I am I really am, I have done some reflecting and I have come to the conclusion I overreacted to the whole thing I should have just told you I'm not interested" Damian said

"Wow makes me feel so much better thanks for using Dicks words come back when you've made your own" Jon said

"That is my own, I need my friend back" Damian said

"So I'm your friend now, just because you want me to forgive you you're my friends don't then tomorrow you'll go back to ignoring me and tripping me up and you'll probably tell people I kissed you and I'll get bullied for that as well, I see right through you" Jon said
