Divergent If Tris Never Died!

Kalahari

Tris POV

I carried Amy in her bassinet to my moms place. Holding Amy's bassinet in one arm holding Tobias' hand in the other.

"What are you smiling about?" Tobias asked surprised.

"Can't I just enjoy life Tobias?" I asked him looking to Amy who was peacefully sleeping.

"I never said you couldn't. I'm just saying you never smile unless it's an occasion."

"I do not! I smile a lot!" I playfully hit his arm.

"You don't smile that much! C'mon Tris were almost there!"

"Aw come on! We're not finished yet!" I tightened my grip on the bassinet, and started speed walking to mom and dads. When we reached the door I took the spare key from under the mat, and unlocked the door.

"Mom! Dad! We're here!" I called into the apartment.

"Tris? We're in the kitchen!" Mom called into the hallway.

"Tobias can you go get the high chair and toys please?" I asked politely and quietly. He nodded placing a peck on my lips. I walked in to seeing a bunch of pictures of the family. I smiled chuckling to myself when I saw a picture of me and Caleb together, smiling like idiots.

"Tris, what are you-? Oh ha you kids are so cute!" Mom smiled and hugged me tightly. Tobias came back in and set down the high chair and bag of toys, he smiled as my Natalie and I were hugging.

"Well mom, have fun with Amy! We love you!" I walked to her and dad, hugged them kissed Amy's forehead and left.

"So what do you want to do for a couple days?" Tobias asked his arm on my shoulder.

"Um, how about Kalahari?" I started laughing non-stop. Tobias too, he nodded and we walked, well ran to our house.

At Kalahari

We drove to Kalahari and parked. We glanced out my window and saw the large hotel ahead. I smiled and pecked Tobias' lips. Racing to the back of the car, I opened the trunk grabbing my luggage. Tobias following me behind, we walked into the lobby glancing at our surroundings. It was African themed, of course. I gasped at the design and decor. Tobias came back and took my hand, walking to the elevator pressing the top floor. After the elevator opened, Tobias tugged my arm to our room. Unlocking the door I walked into the most beautiful room. Breathless, I landed on the couch in the room. Tobias sitting next to me chuckled.

"I thought you needed the best, because you are the best." Tobias kissed my cheek, I smiled and kissed his lips. I walked to find a king bed, a hot tub beside the bed! The couch, then a kitchen, then of course an amazing ensuite. I frowned, Tobias noticed and sat me on the bed.

"What's wrong?" Tobias asked me frowning.

"I feel bad. Amy would've loved this." I shed a tear in guilt.

"Tris, we can take her anytime we want you know. Please can we just have a nice relaxing weekend?" Tobias begged, I sighed and smiled. Running to my suitcase I pulled out a bikini.

"Remember this?" I asked holding the black bikini up.

"Is that?" Tobias smirked knowing what it was.

"Yep it's the same bikini that we supposedly, were going to go swimming during our honeymoon. We never actually went swimming so it remains unused, till now." I ran into the bathroom changing, when I came out Tobias was in black swim trunks.

"Ready to go?" He asked me I smiled and we ran out the door.

Water park

Arriving there we gasped at the huge place. We didn't know where to start so we went to the slides. In a two runs we slid down the biggest slide there. We screamed going down being the best time. After that we made our way to the wave pool, we sat and waited for a few minutes splashing each other. The horn blared and the waves began. Jumping slightly up Tobias was up ahead, the wave was two big and it went over me. Drowning I tried screaming for help, but I was just losing air. Then I blacked out.

Tobias POV

Oh my God! I left her for a minute and she's already dying! I'm a horrible husband! I didn't know till the lifeguards blew their whistle. I looked back to see Tris not there. I looked to my right and left no where. I started panicking, the lifeguards made their way to the body and dove in. Coming out with a small figure with blonde hair I rushed to her.

"Sir if you could step back we can handle this." the lady assured me.

"That's my wife! I have a right to be beside her!" I screamed, she let me through and I kneeled beside Tris, looking at her lifeless body. The lifeguards did CPR repeatedly, I was starting to lose hope when a gasp was heard.

"Tris! I'm so sorry! I should've been beside you and." I started but was cut short by her speaking.

"Tobias I'm fine obviously, the wave was just a little to big. I'm fine come here." I leaned down and kissed her, everyone cheered. Helping her up I sat her on the lawn chair.

"Alright no more waves. Got that?" I asked her scolding her.

"Okay can I at least tan outside?" She asked me I smirked and nodded. I was really hoping nothing else would happen to her.
