*when branch and poppy arrived at the bunker*

*branch was examining poppy's rope burns*

Branch: well you got first-degree rope burns on your arms and legs, but at least you didn't get fourth-degree rope burns

Poppy: oh branch...I'm sorry, If only i- *winces in pain* if only I'd seen the prince earlier I wouldn't have gotten myself in danger... 

Branch: *sighs feeling bad for poppy* it's alright baby, I just need to tend your rope burns right now

*branch pulls out a cotton pad that was soaked in cold water*

Branch: okay this will only hurt a little but I need you to do your best to stay calm okay

Poppy: okay...

*branch applies the cold water to her rope burns, making her squeak softly in pain*

*After applying the cold water to all her rope burns, he took out some tropical aloe*

Poppy: what's that?

Branch: it's tropical aloe, it'll help your wounds heal

Poppy: okay

*branch applies the tropical aloe to her rope burns but surprisingly she didn't make a noise, making him sigh of relief*

*Branch then cleans the rope burns and wraps them up lightly*

Branch: okay now it'll hurt for only a couple of days but it'll get better as long as we reapply a layer of tropical aloe every time we change the bandage 'kay?

Poppy: okay...

Branch: now be careful out there alright?

*branch said while putting his hands on poppy's shoulders*

Poppy: I promise babe...

Branch: okay...*kisses poppy's forehead before she walks out of the bunker*

*A few days later (after poppy's rope burns have fully healed)*

*poppy stood in a prarie with tall grass, looked around rapidly before covering herself using her hair as a tent*

*poppy then sat down and started to sob*

Poppy: why do i wonder why branch picked me?

???: poppy? is that you?

Poppy: *retracts hair and sighs*

Poppy: hey branch...

Branch: is there something wrong?

*branch asked her while sitting next to her*

Poppy: well...*sighs*...i don't know

Branch: it's okay..you can tell me...

Poppy: Let me ask you something branch...why did you choose me? out of all the other girls...why me?

Branch: I'll tell you why

*branch helped her stand up*

Branch: your voice is like a million angels singing a choir from above, your eyes are like two pools so deep, i fear if i dive in i might never come up for air and your beautiful smile, the way it shines, even the sun itself turns jealous and refuses to come out from behind the clouds knowing it cannot shine brighter...than you

*branch said kneeling on one knee holding poppy's hands*

Poppy: oh branch...

*poppy sniffled, feeling touched by branch's words*

*poppy hugs him tightly*

*branch hugs her back and pulls out a guitar*

*branch starts to play it and starts singing*

Poppy: A dangerous plan, just this time

Poppy: a stranger's hand clutched in mine

Poppy: I'll take this chance, so call me blind

Poppy: I've been waiting all my life

Poppy: Please don't scar this young heart

Poppy: just take my hand

*branch started to slow dance with her*
