I woke up this morning feeling better after taking a shower and putting on some clothes I had been doing a little thinking and I wanted to see what this women had to offer so I called her.

It took her a moment to answer but when she did she sounded like she had just woke up and man was her morning voice sexy as hell it had that deep and soft tone that I loved to death

"Hello?" she said snapping me out my thoughts

"hey beautiful did i wake you" I ask putting the phone on speaker while I did some work

"oh I guess you decided to take me up on my offer huh" she says sounding like she had a smile on her face

" I guess I did but ion talk over the phone never know who might be listenin so dinner tonight 8 o clock I can pick you up or I can have you picked up your choice" I say getting straight to the point

"to the point i see" She paused for a moment" I like that, I don't mind you coming to get me" she says and it was my turn to smile

"then I guess I'll be seeing you a little later" I say why I was being so sweet ion know but I knew that I liked her so why not give it a chance

" I guess you will" she says before hanging up leaving me with a small smile I sat in thought for a little bit before getting knocked out of my thoughts by a knock on the door I sighed and got up going to open it seeing a person I truly didn't wanna see

" what are you doing here mariah?"i asked looking at her she had a little pudge but it wasn't mines so I truly didn't give a fuck

" i just wanna talk thats all" she says looking like she had been crying and her eye was black

" we have nothing to talk about you made your decision I don't have time to play this back and forth shit with you " I say looking at her watching her eyes fill with tears

" Neaveah I love you ok I want you not him i-" I cut her off before she could continue

" no you fucking don't you don't love me stop trying to convince me you do i-" I stopped myself from talkin% I wasn't about to waste my breath" ya know what get off my property just leave  I hope you ya nigga and ya baby have a good life cause im done" and with that I slammed the door in her face shaking my head

                       Mariah Pov
I sat there feeling broken I had put her through so much that she was actually done with me I couldn't bare this feeling I wanted her and I knew I did but I didn't at the same time i didn't feel the same for neaveah as she did with me but that didn't mean I didn't want her i know that sounds toxic but its true I didn't want her with no one but me but I messed that up completely I left her house driving back to this house that I dreaded a lot when i stepped in Andre was all down my throat asking about her

" so what happened she let you back in" he asked and I shook my head" whatchu mean no " he asked

" shes done with me Andre you need to find some other way to get to her" I spoke softly  I was tired of this game they played with each other they were both just stupid and in the end i would be the one on top

Andre" I should fuck you up Mariah that baby is really saving your ass" he says rolling a blunt

Id rather be dead then here  if I couldn't have neaveah no one could

                          Neaveah Pov

I was getting ready for this dinner with Lauren and I honestly couldn't wait for it even tho this was for business only I couldn't wait to see her face but I also didn't wanna rush into anything my trust wasn't a hundred percent just yet but I was willing to take a risk after getting ready i grabbed my phone and keys and went to my car putting her address into my GPS and heading her way

When I got there I got out and went to the door knocking on it when it was opened a little boys face appeared making me chuckle

" wassup lil man" I say and he mean mugs me

" you the one thats taking my mama out" he ask and I nod" just know I want her back here by 10 and don't be trying to kiss on her ill kill you if you hurt her" he says and I smiled he remind me of me a little bit

" don't worry lil man its just business but ill bring you back some candy " I say and he gave me a small smile

"...ok we can be friends I like gummy bears by the way" he says and I chuckled again

" I gotchu, im neaveah lil man whats your name?" I asked hearing some shuffling behind him

" I'm ja'kari" he says making me smile

" nice to meet you ja'kari" I say and his smile grows along with mine before we both hear footsteps and Lauren appeared behind him

"what have I told you about opening this door ja'kari" she says in a soft but stern voice

"sorry mommy" he says holding his head down which she lifted back up and kissed it

"its ok baby I just don't want you to get hurt now ill be back before you   be good for grandma please" she says smiling and he nods hugging her and running off

" he's adorable" I say and she smiled

" thank you thats my little body guard but i wouldn't have it any other way....you ready to go" she ask fixing her dress giving me a nice look at what she had on

" yes I am you look good " I say taking her hand and going to the car opening the door for her and helping her in before getting in myself

" you don't look to bad yourself" she says making me smile and from there we had small talk until we got to the restaurant when we got there I got out opened her door and took her hand leading her inside the building when we were seated i let her order first and then i ordered

"so down to business you know what I do isn't for the weak right" I asked looking at her taking a sip of my drink

"  of course I do what? you think I can't handle it" she ask with smirk to which I returned

" ik hoping you can handle alot" I teased playfully" on a serious note tho, your boldness shows me you can  I'd have to see for myself but I've  been thinking and I'm gon give you a chance but lemme warn you if you cross me your  son will grow up without his mother because I don't take to kindly to being crossed understood" I ask seriously

" you won't have to worry about any of that I'm not here to work against you im here to work with you" she says

"why?* I ask as I was very curious as to why she wanted to help so bad

".....Andre did something to me that is unforgivable he deserves to die a slow painful death" she says looking very intimidating like she was reliving a moment in time

" well if your willing to risk your life to kill him then I guess it was pretty bad" I say and she nods making us go into a little staring contest looking directly at each other and after a moment i cracked a smile" don't worry we'll get him together" I say making her smile and from there we had a good night it was posed to be just business but we talked about all kinds of stuff laughing even sad things just a good time when we returned to her house I kissed her cheek handing her the gummy bears

" hmm,give these to lil man for me" I say and she giggled and smiled popping her beautiful dimples

" I sure will he loves these" she says and I nod

" so I've been told* I spoke before pausing and looking into her eyes before speaking again"  I had a good time with you babygirl ill see you Monday" i say and she nods we said our goodnight before I left

" well that went....well" I said as I drove home I think I had found a new person to be in love with but it was to early to tell when I made it home I got in the shower and then got in the bed going to sleep with a smile on my face something I hadn't done in a while.
