Harry walks into the Halls of the Highschool in Holmes Chapel. It is 7.50am on a Monday morning. Some other students, that he don't really know are standing at their lockers talking. He walks to his locker, grabbing his books for the first lesson this day: English by his class teacher Mr Adams. He doesn't like his class teacher very much but he's one of the best students in his English class. So it doesn't matter because at least he likes the lessons.

Suddenly, he feels a fingertip on his shoulders, that ripped him out of his thoughts. It's Olivia, his best friend. They both know each other since first grade and Harry firmly believes that they're soulmates but more like soul-bestfriend-mates.

"Hey, did you heard the news?" Olivia asked, "a new student comes to our school today"

"Oh really?" Harry responded, "What's his name?"

"Uhm I don't know, I just heard our class teacher talking with our headmaster. They just said that he's coming today and that he's from Doncaster"

"You always have to eavesdrop on other people, haven't you? That's impolite!" Harry said

"Oh c'mon you're such a philistine, you need to calm down!"

Harry starts laughing and Olivia joins him. They are both walking to their class room because it's almost 8am and school is starting.

English class is pretty boring. Mr Adams just repeats the grammar with the students for the next test and Harry can do this in his sleep. So he leans back and gets a bit lost in his thoughts. The new student comes up in his mind and he askes himself why he's changing schools. Maybe his grades were too bad.

It has happened quite often that students with bad grades have moved here. He wonders why, because the class here isn't much different. But it doesn't matter. He's sure he don't want to become friends with him. He got Olivia and that's enough. Suddenly the school bell rings and the students pack up their things and leave the classroom. He joins them and walks straight to the other classroom.

Olivia catches up with him"Oh god...one more class with this stuff and that teacher and I swear I'll look up for a cliff for me to jump!"

"Noooo I'm gonna miss you and your free math tutoring" Harry responds.

"Ha Ha Ha really funny! While we're on the subject, I'll call you later after school, I can't do that homework in English alone! I mean what does he think by giving me these exercises?"

Harry starts grinning "He thinks what I've been telling you for years. You won't get any better if you don't even make an effort for this subject!"

"Ughh but it's so unnecessary, I already speak that language, isn't that enough?? Whatever3pm, I'll call you and don't even think about ignoring me."

She walks away to her class and Harry shouts "I can't always help you, you have to learn to deal with this subject on your own!"

"Yeah yeah" She responds and Harry starts grinning even more.

At the lunchroom, he notices that guy who sits alone at a table in the back of the room. He's sure that it's the new guy from the other School. He seems a bit shy and nervous but also friendly. He thinks about going up to him for a moment and keeping him company.

But then he sees Olivia waving in the other side of the room as a sign that she has reserved a seat and he decides not to do it. The rest of the Lunch break he keeps looking at him. Olivia notices it and joins his thoughts

"His name is Louis"

"Huh?", Harry responds

"The new guy, you keep staring at, his name is Louis"

"I wasn't staring at him what are you talking about?"

"Yeah sorry, calm down..."

They continue eating their lunch in silence. After they finish they both walk to their locker, grabbing their books for the next lesson. Their last class this day was biology. Harry finds it okay but in his opinion, it really depends on which teacher they have.

Mostly it's pretty boring and he and Olivia are just making jokes up on random things and confuse their teacher. They even had to go outside the door once, because they both had a flash of laughs.

After the last lesson, Harry walks directly to his car. He always has to hurry on Mondays and Wednesdays, as he has to pick up his older sister Gemma from school on these days. He has an agreement with his mother and sister: He gets the car, but has to drive Gemma from time to time. It's okay for him, because he can drive whenever and wherever he wants.

He gets into his car and drives to Gemmas school. It's quite near to his and the only reason that they're on different schools is that they both couldn't stand it to be on the same school. The relationship between them is good but it has always been the case that they got along best when they weren't together 24/7. When both are given their space, they are inseparable as siblings and they pretty much tell each other everything.

The car door swings open and Gemma sits down next to him in the passenger seat.

"Heyy, how was school" She asks

"Pretty boring but okay, how was yours?"

"Kind of the same, had an unannounced math test but it went better than I thought!"

"How are you always doing this??" Harry asked

"What do you mean? Math?"

"Yeah, just looking at my math book makes me dizzy"

"Haha I don't know, it's the same as with you and English. It's just a logical subject for me"

"Logical??" Harry says with a confused face

"I mean yeah haha, you're exaggerating"

"No I'm not! You and Olivia are crazy, I'll never understand how you do this"

They both start laughing and after 5 minutes they have already arrived at home. Their Mom Anne ist mostly not at home before evening. She works in the hospital and she often has to work overtime. When she comes home, she is often very tired and Gemma and Harry are trying their best to help her with the Household as much as they can. Gemma often cooks for them in the evening and Harry helps her to clean the house on weekends.

Anne loves her two children so much. She is very proud of them and Harry and Gemma know that. Even if Anne isn't often at home and unfortunately doesn't have much time for them, they actually live a harmonious family life.

When Gemma and Harry were little, they often went on small trips on Sundays. Now they don't have much time for that either, as school is becoming more and more demanding. Especially for Gemma, as she is graduating next year.

After the daily call from Olivia, Harry does his homework for the next day. It's not much, just physics, but he's already pretty tired. After dinner he watches another episode of his new Netflix series and then goes straight to bed. He has afternoon classes tomorrow and he knows it's going to be a long busy day.
