Chapter 2

Leonora Vermillion P.O.V.

I watch Yami as I fly behind him on my broom. I scoff silently. How in the world did he get me to come with him. When he starts descending, I follow him as well. I land beside him in front of a huge mansion. "Welcome" he says. When I look up at him, he drops a black bulls robe around my shoulders. "I gotta go to the capital tomorrow, for the entrance exam. Why don't you come with me?" He asks. "Why would I?" I ask, raising my eyebrow. "Because I want to see Fuegoleons face when he sees you" Yami says, grinning. "You're a piece of work" I say, chuckling as I walk toward the entrance. I'm met by a lot of sound en ruckus when I walk in. "It's usually like this. It may be ruckus for a royal brat like you, but soon you'll learn that it's home" Yami says beside me. "It's loud. But it beats the silence of being alone" I say. "Okaeri Taicho!" A pink haired girl shouts, waving a liquor bottle around. "Who did you bring with you? Isn't the entrance exam tomorrow?" Another asks. "Isn't she too old for that?" The girl asks, making me annoyed immediately. "She's your Senpai that has been traveling. Show some respect" Yami says, placing his hand on my shoulder. The boy that talked earlier, is suddenly in front of me. "To have such a beautiful woman as my Senpai" he grabs my hand. "Go out on a date with me" he says. I smile as I see that it annoys Yami. "No" I say bluntly as pull my hand away and flick his forehead. "Thanks for asking though" I say. "Taicho! Join me for a drink won't you?" The girl shouts. "No, I got shit to do, come" Yami says, nodding toward the door. I follow him. "What do you want to see first, my room, or yours?" Yami smirking looks over his shoulder as we walk through the hall. "Depends on which bed is more comfortable" I say, licking my lips. "My room it is" he says.

I walk through the halls of the venue where the entrance exam is held with my hands in my pockets. Yami asked for a moment to gather the new recruits Noelle and Asta and Finral is bothering some girls again. "Leonora.." I turn around and see my brother behind me. "Fuegoleon-niisama" I say, smiling slightly. "You're alive" he says breathlessly. "You thought I had died?" I ask surprised. "I hoped that you didn't, but you disappeared without a word.." he says. "I'm sorry" I say. Fuegoleon walks over. "I get it. I do" Fuegoleon places his hand on the back of my head and pulls me against him, hugging me. "I'm glad you're alive" he says. I hesitate for a second then hug back. "I'm sorry for worrying you, niisama" I say softly. Fuegoleon holds me at arms length. "You know we'd gladly have you at the crimson lions right?" He asks looking at my robe. "You're not trying to steal my members are you?" I turn my head to see Yami walking over. "I think it's the other way around. She was my sister before that" Fuegoleon says. "Royals can choose whichever squad they like right? She choose mine" Yami grins. "Don't listen to him" I sigh. "I appreciate it, Fuegoleon-niisama, but this is something I got to do for myself" I say. "Alright then. Leopold and Mereoleona will be so happy to learn that you're alive" Fuegoleon says. I smile. "Don't be a stranger.." he says, patting my shoulder before walking away. I turn toward Yami. "Ready to go home?" He asks. I smile. "Yeah" I say. I follow him to Finral, Asta and Noelle. "Leonora.." Noelle says surprised. "Noelle-chan" I say amused, patting her head before walking through Finrals spatial magic.

I look up at the setting sun in the sky. Panting I place my hand on my lower back and wipe the sweat from my forehead with my wrist. "Still not good enough" I sigh deeply, placing my palm onto my forehead closing my eyes. "Wow, Senpai, that was really cool" I take my palm off my forehead and look up to see Magna standing a few feet away from me. "Nah, not really. It's not the way it's supposed to be" I say. "That can't be true" he says walking up. I chuckle. "Yeah. It is kid" I say. "You gotta teach me" he says. I smile. "I don't think I can teach you spells that aren't destined for you. But I don't mind training with you from time to time" I say. Magna grins happily. "But not today. I'm all out of mana" I say, I pat his shoulder as I walk past him. "I train every day, if there's no mission. You can join me whenever you like. I won't go easy on you though!" I say, without turning around as I walk toward the door of the base. I walk in, and directly toward the bathroom. I can feel Yami's stare, but decide to ignore it playfully. I take a shower before sinking into the bath with a deep sigh. I close my eyes as I lean my head against the wall behind me. "I do not recommend falling asleep here" I open my eyes and see Yami barefooted, crouching beside the bath. "Speaking from experience?" I ask. "Definitely" he says. "I do recommend having this with you in the bath after training" he says holding up a glass filled with liquor. "Hmm and you just casually decided to give it to me?" I ask, gliding over to him. "I needed an excuse to come in and look at your melons" he says dryly. I chuckle as I take the glass from him and sit down, purposely out of his reach and purposely keeping my breasts underneath the water. "You're cheating" he says. "Am I? Or are you?" I ask amused.  Yami smiles amused as well. "Enjoy the bath" he says, standing up and leaving the bathroom. I sigh deeply, pressing my thighs together. "Pull yourself together." I mumble to myself, closing my eyes.
