it was finally christmas morning!
i woke up by feeling someone poking my arms and looked to see cosette at my side. christmas is her favorite holiday, and honestly, i don't blame her.
"WAKE UP" she yelled in my ear
"godric what time is it?" i ask
"6:00 am" she said
"why did you wake me up so early? we go out of our rooms at 7:00 this is too early let me sleep woman!" i say
"ITS CHRISTMAS. YOU'RE FINE. NOW GET UP" she said
"You're so annoying, I hope you know that potter" i say
"Aww love you too" she said and dragged me out of bed.
We talked for an hour until we heard mum yell "Merry Christmas kids! You can come down now!" She said and we all ran downstairs as fast as we could. I decided to keep my present for Ced in my room and give it to him later
Cosette and I had a race with the twins a and Cedric to see who could get down the stairs fastest. Cos and I obviously won.
"You're gonna regret that Weasley" Cedric said
"Honestly no I won't, because I won. And you lost. Have a nice day" I said and walked away to sit by Ginny and Cosette.
"Happy Christmas Cos, here's this from yours truly" i said and she opened the gift I had gotten her. It was a picture frame with a picture of them, Emma, Jo, and Cedric that she took when they were outside on their day off.
"Oh my, I love it so much. Thank you!" She said "Cedric come here, you're in my new picture!" He walked over everyone to come see the picture.
"That's amazing, that day was a great day" he said and went back to Fred and George.
"And here's your gift from me and Harry" she said and when I opened it there was a candle and a new book. She knew how much I loved reading and candles.
"I love it thank you so much!" I said and gave her a hug.
I then opened the rest of my presents my friends and family had gotten me. Mum and Dad got me a new broom, the twins got me my favorite candies, Ginny got me earrings, and Emma and Jo sent me a new Polaroid camera!
We spent the day playing lots of muggle games, quidditch, and watched some movies we had gotten Dad since he loves muggle inventions.
"OKAY! We're picking teams, who wants to be captains!?" Cedric says
"ME" Harry and I both yell. I chose George, Ron, and Cedric. Harry's team had Fred, Ginny and Cosette. I was mad he picked Cos before I did, but we were still gonna kick their arses.
"YOU'RE GOING DOWN POTTER" i yell at Harry before we start the match.
"IN YOUR DREAMS WEASLEY" he yells back at me
"I want a CLEAN game" Percy yells being our referee. We now started the match and I found the snitch before Harry did. Not shocking.
When the game ended, we landed on the ground and Mum came out to tell us to get washed up for supper.
"Thanks mum, and happy Christmas everyone" i say. Many thank you's and Happy Christmas were being heard from everywhere.
"Thank you Weasleys for having us for this wonderful Christmas Day, it's been amazing." Amos said.
We continued on with our dinner and we had so much fun being there. "So, who won the quidditch match?" Dad asked
"We did!" Cedric, George, Ron and I said and gave each other high fives. Seeing Cedric happy like that made me so happy.
After dinner we all head upstairs to get ready for bed. I met Cedric at the top of the stairs.
"Ced, I got you a present and it doesn't matter if you didn't get me one. You've just been such a good friend to me this year and I wanted to get you something to show you how much I appreciate you" i say
"Okay good I got you something too, but you go first." He said and I gave him his present. It was a picture they took in the astronomy tower together with some jelly beans because they reminded her of their date.
"Renee, I love it. I do look very good in that picture if I do say so myself" he said and we both started laughing. He definitely was not wrong.
"Of course you're one of my best friends" I said. Friends. Yes, that's the word.
"Okay now open yours!" He said excitingly. I opened it and it was a beautiful necklace and if you looked closely, there was a picture of us in there.
"Oh Ced, i-it's beautiful" i say. "I thought you might like it. The picture is for us, no matter what happens we'll always be best of friends. Promise?"
"Promise. No matter what happens."
