POWER-OVERDRIVE

Chapter 1 "When it all happend"

Once a upon a time, there was a teenager this teen went to a school in Minnesota. Bridge-Field High School in and like any teen being "depressed"was normal because, his dad died before he was seven. He always wanted to be a Superhero, to try and make his dad proud, his name was Zane, he was fourteen years old. He lived on the south side of Baltimore, But the only problem is his high-school was thirty minute walk from where he lived. But with his mom leaving at five o-clock in the morning (She had been working as a E.M.T at St. Gorge Medical Research Hospital for about twelve years now).

Chapter 1
It was Monday November, 14, 2028, Zane was getting ready for school he was a freshmen in high school. His mom was a doctor. After he had some breakfast, He got on his bike and started on his way to school, after Zane arrived he went to class, (algebra one) He sat down in the back of the class where his two friends were sitting. Immediately Amy said, "Hey Zane what are you doing after school today". (Zane knew that Amy had a crush on him since pre-k). Zane said, "well I was gonna go into the city, and go hang with my old friends". Will said {annoyed}, "so you like them more than us".

Zane said "no it's not that, it's just I haven't seen them for awhile and I miss them I'm just going to visit them after school". Amy said "but we haven't seen josh and Sam for years can we come with". Zane said {annoyed} " I can't stop you guys from coming with so I guess". Will started talking but the teacher interrupted him and said "no talking, class has started".(during break) Will came up to Zane and said "hey like I was gonna say something in class but the teacher interrupted, but I can't go I have a lot of shit to do".

Zane said "ok well I'll see you later then" *later after school*. (Zane was walking to the bus stop with Amy to go to the city) *Zane got on the bus with Amy* when they got to the inner city of Baltimore, They go to Josh's apartment. They turned to walk down 5th street, nobody's was on the street, no cars, people or even any sounds, Amy said "where did all the people go ?" Zane  said {Confused}"they were just here". (This dimension was inhabitable) As they both started running down to the next street it was the same nothing.

Zane looks back, where they just came from and they see too objects 1, a black skull, and the 2nd a type of book. Zane told Amy about this then they both started walking back over to where they came from to the objects, but before they could inspect them more they were already back in the real world. Zane says in a {worried tone}, "what the hell just happened" Amy said "so we didn't imagine that?" Zane said "Definitely not" as they continued to Josh's apartment, when they got there they decided to not tell him anything, in case they thought they were crazy. *knocks on door* Josh opens it with a feared look in his eyes, Zane asks "is something wrong?"

Josh said {with a shaky voice} "the weirdest thing just happened" (Zane and Amy looked at each other) Zane asked {in a shocked tone} "What did you see?" Josh said "I mean nothing really just,this guy down at the taco stand said bugs were good" Zane said {with a sigh of relief} "oh that is pretty weird". Josh said "yea I know wanna go into the forest outside the city" Zane and Amy both said "sure" they all go to the train station and get on.
